Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of the God Slayer is not one taken lightly. It is the manifestation of ones ambitions to end the reign of a god-like being over the land or ones self. To be freed from the grasp of celestial or fiendish influence and put an end to their power. Killing fiend "cultists" or "zealots", convincing the populace of how a God doesn't deserve worship and razing places holy to a hated deity are all things a God Slayer can do on the mortal plane to enact their tenets. Some Paladins and Clerics see these as acts of religious persecution, because of this they are closely associated with Oath-breakers and will often be labelled as evil. But God Slayers also hunt those who worship false gods and fiends with fervour. When a Paladin of the God Slayer takes their Oath, they will often say it with thoughts of vengeance and hate for their own inability to overcome a power far greater than themselves.
TENETS OF DEICIDE
The tenets of the Oath of the God Slayer are taken from ones own will to see the end of a power greater than themselves.
Pull out at the Roots. A god with no worshippers is alone. So I'll cull their numbers.
Salt the Fields. A god who cannot influence the land is powerless. So I'll quash their words.
Raze the Church. A god without a house has no where to hide. So I'll burn it to the ground.
Go for the Head. A god with nothing is only a man. So I'll fight them till they no longer draw breath.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Revoke Oration. As an action, you present your holy symbol and speak words of invalidation, using your Channel Divinity. Choose one creature within 60 feet of you that can hear you and understands at least one language you speak. That creature must make a Wisdom saving throw, unless it is immune to being charmed. Creatures considered fiends or celestials have disadvantage on this saving throw.
On a failed save, the creature is charmed for 10 minutes or until it takes any damage. While charmed this way, the creature cannot speak or give commands to it's allies.
On a successful save, the creature is unaffected.
Slayers Edge. As an action, you can imbue one weapon that you are holding with baleful energy, using your Channel Divinity. Whenever you attack a fiend or celestial with this weapon, you may add your Charisma modifier to your attack and damage rolls (with a minimum bonus of +1). For 1 minute, if the weapon you imbued has the one-handed or versatile property the weapon also gains the thrown property (range 20/60). If you have thrown this weapon or have been disarmed, the weapon returns back to your hand at the end of your turn. If the weapon is not already magical, it becomes magical for the duration.
You can end this effect on your turn as part of any other action. If you fall unconscious, this effect ends.

Defiant Aura
Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you can’t be cursed. If an ally that is already cursed comes within 10ft of you, they must make a charisma saving throw against the source of the targets curse. On a success, the curse ends. Otherwise the curse can then only be lifted by a remove curse or similar spell.
In addition, any time you or an ally that is within 10ft of you is attacked by a celestial or fiend, the attacker has disadvantage on their attack roll.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Stand against Power
Starting at 15th level, your mortal will gives you and your allies defence against opponents stronger than yourselves. You and your allies in your Aura of Protection gain resistance to all damage dealt by creatures that are of a higher level or any that are bigger than you.
God Slayer
At 20th level, you can now strip away at a beings power. Using your action, under your own willpower you cause a creature to lose their strength. For 1 minute, a creature under your influence has all of their stats decreased by 10 and can no longer use any special abilities they may have (this does not include casting spells).
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
