Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Your patron is a being with the power of divination, a creature that can read the threads of fate and predict the future. This pact gives you the ability to briefly see through their eyes to gain deadly insights on your opponents, insane intuition and even premonitions of the future.

Entities that may empower a warlock of this subclass could be a hag with the powers of divination, a coatl, or any creature with divination powers

Expanded Spell List

Your patron lets you choose from an expanded spell list when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to your warlock spell list.

Pact of the Third Eye Expanded Spells

Spell Level Spells
1st Gift of Alacrity, Sanctuary
2nd Fortune's Favor, Mind Spike
3rd Clairvoyance, Glyph of Warding
4th Divination, Arcane Eye
5th Scrying, Skill Empowerment

Bonus Cantrip

At the 1st level, you learn the Guidance and True Strike cantrips. They count as Warlock cantrips for you and do not count against your number of cantrips known.

6th Sense

At the 1st level, your patron grants you the ability to foresee a creature or place. You become more proficient at using True Strike and you sense things before they happen, making you more perceptive.

You gain proficiency in perception or expertise if you already have proficiency.  Additionally, you gain one more point into your perception skill per Pact of the Eye feature unlocked. This includes 6th sense, Premonition, Fortune Teller, and Gift of Foresight.

Any successful attacks made against creatures under the effect of true strike deal additional psychic damage depending on how many points you have in perception

4 perception = 1d4
6 perception = 1d6
8 perception = 1d8
10 perception = 1d10
12 perception = 1d12

Premonition

At the 6th level, your patron gifts you the ability to sense impending problems.  Once per short rest, roll one d20 and record it.  You can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see. You must do this before the roll.

You may only use this roll once and you lose this roll upon a short rest.

Fortune Teller

Your patron gives you the ability to tell an ally their fortune.

Upon taking a long or short rest, you may use a spell slot and select one ally that can hear you to tell them a fortune that lasts until your next long or short rest or until used.

You may use this fortune to cast true strike against a creature and also grant your fortune ally true strike against that creature. When you use this feature, you share your initiative with that ally but they move after you.

Alternatively, fortune teller may be used on guidance to instead add a guaranteed 4 to your chosen ally's skill check.

Gift of Foresight

At the 14th level, your patron grants you the gift of foresight, upgrading your Pact of the Third Eye features.

6th Sense instead deals 2d4/6/8/10/12 damage

Premonition lets you choose to add or subtract your charisma bonus to your roll before recording it.

Fortune Teller allows you to take a reaction to protect both you and your ally from damage, granting both of you advantage on a saving throw or giving the attacking enemy disadvantage on its attack roll.
