Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

A Blue Mage specializes in learning from another’s spellcasting, and copying it. By not restraining themselves to the arcane studies, they can learn a greater variety of spells outside of a Wizard’s normal area of interest.

Steal Spell

As a Blue Mage, your signature ability is to copy spells others cast by watching how they channel their magic, and copying down to a T. When a creature within 60 feet of you casts a spell, you can copy it as a reaction. If you do so, you treat that spell as if it was prepared, and you may cast it as if it was a wizard spell using the appropriate spell slots until the end of your next turn.

Blue Book

At 6th level, you learn to remember spells you cast by stealing. Your spellbook gains a new section dedicated to holding your stolen spells. When you use Steal Spell, you can add the spell for your book in said new section, regardless of whether or not it is a wizard spell. You can only have a number of spells in the section equal to your wizard level. If you add another, you must remove one of them.

You can prepare any spells in your new section as if they were wizard spells you have in your spellbook.

Extra Prepared

At 10th level, you become an adept at utilizing spells you’ve stolen. You can prepare an additional number of spells from your Blue Book feature each day equal to your intelligence modifier.

Supreme Memory

At 14th level, you can magically steal a spell for your spellbook effortlessly. You no longer require a reaction to add a spell to your special page with Blue Book.
