Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Pact of the poppet warlocks use techniques provided by their patrons to create poppets, which can bind to the souls of creatures, causing various effects to the bound and to the binder. Over time, a warlocks skill in manipulating the bound through the poppet will increase, to a level where to the warlock may be able to control the bound or even turn the bound into poppets for their own usage. The original concept focused on abilities related to how voodoo is portrayed in pop culture, with voodoo dolls, luck based powers and an emphasis on curses. This is the revised version, which emphasizes on the concept of the poppet, while also referencing doll and toy themed abilities from various media

You can own and control a number of poppets equal to your warlock level. A poppet Is a tiny object with an AC of 10, an HP of 10, and a damage threshold of 1. You can use an action to bind a poppet to a creature. you must know the creatures name or have a possession or body part of the creature in order for the binding to work. A creature cannot be bound to more than one poppet at a time. Unbinding a creature from its poppet Takes one bonus action. If a poppet takes damage while it is bound to a creature, the bound creature takes that damage instead, and the poppet takes 1 damage. If the poppet drops to 0 hit points, it is destroyed, and the creature is no longer bound to it.

Seamstress

You learn the mending cantrip if you haven’t already. This spell doesn’t count against the number of spells you know. you can use the mending spell to repair a damaged poppet that has at least one hit point remaining. If you do, the poppet regains all of its lost hit points. If you repair a damaged poppet that has at least one hit point that is bound to a creature, that creature gains hit points equal to the number of hit points gained by the damaged poppet.

Poppet of many souls

Your ability to bind poppets have improved. You can now bind up to two creatures to a poppet instead of one, using the same action and only if you the requirements to bind a creature to a poppet are both met. If one of the creatures bound to the poppet takes damage, you can choose to transfer the damage to the other creature bound to the poppet. This causes the poppet to take 2 damage, instead of 1. If the poppet is attacked directly, you may choose for the damage to be divided among the two creatures as you see fit.

Poppet twin

Your ability to manipulate the bound creature through its poppet has increased. You can speak to a bound creature through its poppet while you are on the same plane of existence as it. Additionally, you can choose a poppet as the target of a spell or ability, and the effect of the spell or ability will transfer to its bound creature, regardless of range, as long as you are both on the same plane of existence.

Perfect poppet

You can use an action to touch an unbound creature to attempt to transform it into a poppet, expending an unbound poppet in the process. The creature must make a save against your spell save dc. On a failure, the creature becomes transformed into a poppet. A transformed creature can’t take actions, can only talk if you allow it to, and its AC and HP are replaced by that of the poppet. If the poppet is reduced to zero hit points or is destroyed, the transformed creature is returned to its original form with half of its hit points. (minimum of one hit point) a dispel magic or remove curse spell removes the effect, and the transformed creature returns to normal with no damage.
