Way of the Ancestors

Deep within your bloodline flows the legacy of your ancestors – a tapestry woven with wisdom, valor, and a connection to the ethereal realm. As you tap into this ancestral power, you become an Ancestral Wraithblade, a warrior who can summon forth the spirits of those who came before you to aid in battle and enhance your perception beyond mortal limits.

Ancestral Wraithstrike

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to channel the spectral energy of your forebears, manifesting as a wraith that charges forth to strike your enemies. By spending 1 ki point as a bonus action, you can summon the Ancestral Wraith to attack a target within 30 feet. Roll a d20, adding your Wisdom modifier and proficiency bonus to determine the wraith's attack roll. If the wraith's attack roll meets or exceeds the target's Armor Class, it deals 2d8 force damage.

Spiritual Perception

Also at 3rd level, your communion with the spirits of your ancestors sharpens your senses to an extraordinary degree. You gain expertise in the Perception skill. If you are already proficient in Perception, you double your proficiency bonus for any ability check that uses the Perception skill. This heightened perception allows you to see the unseen, uncover hidden truths, and detect even the faintest disturbances in your surroundings.

 

Ancestral Fortitude

Starting at 6th level, you gain the ability to draw upon your ancestral spirits for fortitude. Whenever you take damage, you can use your reaction to gain temporary hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier plus your proficiency bonus. These ethereal shields help you endure the blow and stand strong against even the most potent assaults.

Ethereal Guidance

Upon reaching 11th level, you gain the Ancestral Insight feature. Whenever you make an ability check or a saving throw, you can use your reaction to roll a d6 and add the result to the roll. Additionally, when you make an attack roll, you can use this feature to roll a d6 and add the result to the attack roll. you can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier plus one

Eternal Bloodline

At 17th level, you unlock the Ancestral Ascendance feature. Once per long rest, when you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can draw upon the boundless strength of your eternal bloodline. Instead of falling unconscious, you remain standing with 1 hit point, surrounded by a translucent aura of ancestral energy that grants you resistance to all damage until the start of your next turn. During this time, you can take one additional turn immediately after this one, acting as if it were your turn in the initiative order.
