Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

The Ōmeteōtl Warlock is a known class of the Quetzal Race which is known for the ability to Cast additional spells granted to them directly from Ōmeteōtl thyself. Ōmeteōtl is the embodiment of the God and Goddess of Duality, neither good or bad but they are Gods of Balance in the multiverse.

Ōmeteōtl Spells

You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Ōmeteōtl Spell table. Each of these spells counts as a warlock spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of warlock spells you know.

Whenever you gain a warlock level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level.

Ōmeteōtl Spell Slots

1st-level The Ōmeteōtl feature

Starting at 1st level, you gain another way to cast spells. Ōmeteōtl grants you a number of spells slots equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest which are not interchangeable with your traditional spell slots. At the end of a long rest you must roll two dice referred to as Ōmeteōtl Spell die for each one of your Ōmeteōtl Spell Slots. The size of one of your Ōmeteōtl Spell die will always be a d8 which you will roll for each of your Ōmeteōtl Spell Slots and it will determine the School of Magic that corresponds to each of those spell slots(refer to Ōmeteōtl Spell die table). The second Ōmeteōtl Spell die grows as you increase levels in your Warlock class and at first level you will start with a d4 to determine the level of spell that is allowed for each one of your Ōmeteōtl Spell Slots. When you finish your long rest, roll both Ōmeteōtl Spell die for each Ōmeteōtl Spell Slot(refer to Ōmeteōtl Spell die table). At any time until you finish another long rest you are allowed to use your Ōmeteōtl Spell Slot to cast any spell from any spell list as long as the school of magic and spell level match what you rolled for each spell slot. Once you use a Ōmeteōtl Spell Slot you cant use it again until you finish a long rest which you will then need to reroll your Ōmeteōtl Spell die again. You must roll your Ōmeteōtl Spell die for each Ōmeteōtl Sell Slot after every long rest even if you didn't use the spell slot previously, you will end up with all new spell levels and schools of magic for each Ōmeteōtl Spell Slot. The Spells casted through your Ōmeteōtl Spell Slots do not require any verbal, somatic, or material components even if they have a monetary value, and all spells that have a cast time of a minute or longer will be casted as 1 Action. If you roll your Ōmeteōtl Spell dice and there are no spells that match the spell level and school of magic, you must reroll the school of magic die(d8) until you find a match that has at least 1 available spell for that Ōmeteōtl Spell Slot.

As your Warlock level increases, so does your Ōmeteōtl Spell die that determines the spell level: at 9th level(d6), at 13th level(d8), at 17th level(d10). Your Ōmeteōtl Spell die that determines School of Magic is: d8.

Ōmeteōtl Spell: Recovery. At 1st level, You gained the ability to regain one of your Ōmeteōtl Spell Slots. Once per day when you finish a short rest, you can choose an expended Ōmeteōtl spell slot to recover. The spell slot cannot be a spell with a level higher than your Charisma modifier.

Fortitude of the Chosen One

1st-level The Ōmeteōtl feature

Starting at 1st level, you can cast Mage Armor at will without expending a spell slot but this version of Mage Armor uses your Charisma modifier instead of your Dexterity modifier and you also gain Shield training. You have advantage on attack rolls for your eldritch blasts if an ally is within 5ft of it. You gain the ability to cast your somatic spells with your shield in one hand as long as you have a wand, staff or spellcasting focus in the other hand.

Font of Fortune

6th-level The Ōmeteōtl feature

Starting at 6th level, you can reroll 1 Ōmeteōtl Spell die once when you're taking your long rest and you must take the value of the new roll. At 14th level you can choose to keep either roll.

Arial Assault

10th-level The Ōmeteōtl feature

Starting at 10th level, as an Action you can summon Couatl wings from your back that cannot be dispelled, counterspelled, or prevented from activating due to anti-magic fields a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier per long rest. Your flying speed is equal to your walking speed for 1 hour. If you already have wings because of your race, they will transform into Couatl wings and gain the benefits as long as this feature is active.

Spell Swap

14th-level The Ōmeteōtl feature

Starting at 14th level, as a bonus action you can choose 1 target 30ft from you and choose to swap one of your expended spell slots with one of their unused spell slots. Their Spell slot must be the same level as your expanded spell slot and if they don't have any available spell slots at that level they move to a lower level spell slot until one is available for you to swap with. This Feature doesn't apply to your Ōmeteōtl Spell Slots. You are able to use this feature once per long rest.
