Monk spell casting
During this Path you gain abilities that have effects of spells. However, monk uses only somatic components to any of these abilities (if there are any), and does not need material components. instead of spell slots monk uses their Ki
Monk’s spellcasting DC is: 8 + Proficiency + Wisdom
Opening the mind
At 3rd level you slowly start to open your potential through meditation that can take days without eating or drinking. Finally you will be able to reach out to other people’s minds and ever so slightly bend reality around you.
Minor Telekinesis
As an action, you are able to manipulate telepathically up to 3 objects within 30 ft. of you. The objects’ combined weight must be within boundaries of what you could lift physically (for example you could lift one medium box or three pouches). You are able to move the objects up to 30 ft. per action. Once action has been used the objects stay in place (in mid air). The effect ends as a free action or if your distance to the object is longer than 30 ft.
Mind Reach (1 ki)
You can spend 1 ki points to cast Detect thoughts only using Somatic components. Wisdom is your spellcasting modifier.
Expanding the mind
At 7th level your further training to enhance your ability of bending your surroundings gives you powers to more concretely influence space and people around you.
Force Push (2 ki)
By spending 2 ki points. You are able to hit your enemies with kinetic force so powerful that you send them flying. With the kinetic force of your mind you can now thrust a creature that you can see within 30 ft. of you. That creature must make a strength saving throw. On a fail that creature takes 3d6 force damage and is pushed on a direction of your choice and falls prone. On a success that creature takes half the damage and does not move.
Creatures of different sizes get pushed followingly:
- 15 ft. if it’s a small or smaller creature
- 10 ft. if it’s a medium creature
- 5 ft. if it’s a large creature
- anything bigger than large creature only suffers the damage
Force push damage increases by d6 on 11th and 17th level.
Mind Influence (3 ki)
You can spend 3 ki points to cast Suggestion through touch with only using somatic components.
Becoming one with time and space
At 11th level your mind is now at your will, and you become able to influence the reality itself.
Mind Over Matter (4 ki)
You can spend 4 ki points to cast Telekinesis with only somatic component.
Fate Bending (3 ki)
As a reaction you can spend 3 ki points you can give yourself 1 luck point to use immediately. you can spend up to 9 ki points per long rest to use this ability.
Reality bender
Only few has come this far. 17th lvl. you are able to bend time to suit your needs.
Time Bending (5 ki)
You can now spend 5 ki points as a reaction, to stop the time around you and give yourself more time to act. You can spend up to 10 Ki points per long rest to use this ability.
If you use your reaction before your turn in combat you get an extra turn. This turn includes a movement action and a bonus action. Other people and objects are considered paralyzed to you in terms of combat and their weight is half of their normal weight. During time stop you can will water to be solid for you to walk on it or will it so that water acts normally around your immediate vicinity. When this turn ends, time starts passing normally (for everyone) and it’s your turn.
If you use this any other time, the time stops and you have your movement and action to use. Then the time starts passing normally.
You may use your reaction after a die roll, but always before determining its effects. This goes for any roll (attack roll, ability check, saving throw).
