Base Class: Barbarian
Whether you were on the frontlines of The Blood War or you were experimented on by an infernal smith you have found yourself with an infernal engine where your heart once was and your blood replaced with hellfire.
Infernal Fury
Beginning at 3rd level, when you rage your infernal engine roars to life as your body heats to extreme amounts as you gain a resistance to fire and your unarmed strikes deal 1d6+STR fire damage 2d6 at 6th level 3d6 at 10th level 4d6 at 14th level
A Soul’s worth
At 6th level, you are able to start collecting a small coin off the corpse of creatures you kill. The coin is warm to the touch, burning with the soul trapped within. The coin can be interested into your engine to amplify your rage in a number of ways
Devilish Visage
Using reaction as part of your rage you insert three coins as you take on a more devilish look sprouting horns and fiendish wings giving you a flying speed equal to your movement and growing in size (ex: mid > Large) this form only last while raging
Dreadfall
Using an action insert 1 coin to launch yourself up to 30 ft in a direction you can see ending in a 5ft explosion dealing 2d6 fire damage which any creature caught in must make a dex saving throw only taking half damage on a pass
Hellfire Breath
Using an action you insert two coins and let out a 15 ft cone of fire from your mouth each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking (4d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Hellish Price
When hit you can use your reaction to insert 1 coin to cast hellish rebuke which can be upcasted depending on how many coins you spend
Infernal Overclock
As an action using any number of coins you trigger your infernal engine to explode early adding the number of coins you used to the dice pool, you also take the damage from the explosion and this can not be reduced in any way, if you were to drop to zero as a result from the damage taken you do not fall unconscious needing to make death saving throw and instead die
Hellfire Aura
Starting at 10th level, the area around you when you begins to dry out around you as hell fire flickers off your body when entering your rage as anything in a 10 ft radius around you catches on fire with anything not being worn or carried is set ablaze and creatures must make a dex saving throw against 10+(Con Mod) or take 1d10+con fire damage and any metal reacts as if it was affected by the spell heat metal or taking half damage and no affect
Additionally any creature grappled by you takes 1d6 fire damage per turn grappled.
The Price of Zariel’s Chosen
At 14th level, as your infernal engine begins to reach the end of its life cycle the effects on your body seems to be irreversible as you no longer need to rage for the damage on your unarmed strikes and merely touching your skin is enough to burn away at something as your touch does 1d6 of fire damage to friend or foe
When Raging you are now immune to any fire damage and when you are dropped to zero hit points you explode as each creature must make a Dexterity saving throw dealing 10d8 on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful on fire damage in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on you
