Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians who follow the Path of the Bloodborne tap into a primal connection between pain and power. As they endure wounds in battle, their fury intensifies, transforming their pain into devastating strikes. The more they are hurt, the more dangerous they become, allowing them to unleash relentless assaults on their enemies. With each injury, their connection to their primal rage grows, granting them unmatched resilience and prowess in combat. At the pinnacle of this path, they achieve "Bloodstorm Ascendance," turning themselves into a storm of unyielding fury, dealing devastating blows even as they teeter on the brink of unconsciousness. Those who walk the Path of the Bloodborne become the embodiment of relentless determination and raw, unbridled might on the battlefield.
3rd Level - Pain-Fueled Strike When you take damage from a melee attack, your next melee weapon attack gains a bonus to damage equal to the damage you just took. This bonus damage lasts until the start of your next turn. Additionally, you have advantage against any hostile creature that has damaged you with a melee strike since the end of your last turn.
6th Level - Bloodrage When you are reduced to half your hit points or below, your connection to your primal rage strengthens and you enter Bloodrage. You gain a bonus to your damage rolls equal to your Barbarian level divided by 2 (rounded down). While in this bloodrage, your reckless attacks no longer grant advantage to enemies attacking you, and you can use your reaction to make an opportunity attack against any creature that enters your reach.
10th Level - Frenzied Assault When you take damage from a melee attack, you can use your reaction to immediately make a melee weapon attack against the creature that hit you. Additionally, when you score a critical hit, you can choose to immediately make another melee attack as a bonus action.
Improved Bloodrage When you enter Bloodrage, you can choose to make a free attack regardless of initiative order. Additionally, while under 30 percent of your total health, you have advantage on all Strength based attack rolls.
14th Level - Bloodstorm Ascendance Your connection to the feral forces of your blood rage reaches its zenith. While you are in Bloodrage, your attacks become a storm of unrelenting fury. When you hit with a melee weapon attack, you deal additional damage equal to half your Barbarian level (rounded down) to the target. Additionally, if you drop to 0 hit points while in this state, you can use your reaction to make a final attack against a creature within your reach before falling unconscious. This final attack is made with advantage and deals double damage.
