Base Class: Wizard
A wand? nah, these wizards carry a different kind of stick. Artificers watch out...
Trained in Spells and Shoot-outs
2nd-level School of Gunslinging feature
Starting when you choose this archetype at 2nd level, you gain proficiency with firearms, allowing you to add your proficiency bonus to attacks made with firearms. You also gain proficiency with light armor.
Infused Firearm
2nd-level School of Gunslinging feature
You can spend time during a long rest to infuse a firearm with your magic to use it as your arcane focus. That firearm now uses your intelligence modifier for damage and attack rolls.
When you cast a spell with a range of touch or requires a melee spell attack roll, you can instead cast it through one of your bullets. The range becomes the same as the short range of your firearm.
Extra Attack
6th-level School of Gunslinging feature
You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. Moreover, you can cast one of your cantrips in place of one of those attacks.
Infusion Mastery
10th-level School of Gunslinging feature
Whenever you cast spells which deal damage by using a firearm as your arcane focus, you can add the regular damage that the firearm would have done. For example if you cast fire bolt and hit a creature, they would take fire bolt damage plus the firearms base damage. This extra damage also applies to spells which have multiple targets, ex. fireball.
The extra damage can be applied to each creature you hit once per turn. The duration of the spell must be instantaneous for this extra damage to apply. However there are exceptions to this rule for certain spells like witch bolt which have a duration but are still "one-hit attack roll" spells.
Perfected Combination
14th-level School of Gunslinging feature
When you take the attack action you can forgo your two attacks and instead cast two instantaneous spells which require melee or ranged attack rolls. Additionally, when you cast a spell of 5th level or lower, you can also make an attack with your firearm. This extra attack can be replaced with any spell which is 2nd level or lower and has a duration of instantaneous.
