Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Within the twisted corners and darkened forests of the fey realm, where shadows meld with secrets, lies the dominion of The Hag and Their Covens. Those who forge pacts with these ancient beings do so for any number of reasons. For some, it may be a bargain struck with a hag or coven, motivated by benevolent or malicious intentions. For others, it might be the outcome of trickery by these predominantly malevolent entities. Those chosen to partake in these pacts gain access to a wellspring of dark magic that mirrors the cunning and trickery of the hags themselves.

Hags and their Covens are known throughout the Multiverse for their insidious nature, employing deception, curses, and trickery to achieve their ends. Warlocks who embrace The Coven as their patrons inherit a fraction of this craftiness and embrace the mysterious practices of these otherworldly crones. Their power originates from their pact with a coven of hags, with each member contributing their distinct magical essence.

Coven's Bond

At 6th level, your connection to the hag coven grows stronger. You can now communicate telepathically with creatures within 30 feet of you that share a language with you.

Additionally, when you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that targets only one creature, you can choose to target a second creature within 30 feet of the first target.

Eldritch Infusion

At 10th level, your spells are infused with the strange and unpredictable magic of The Hag. When you cast a spell that deals damage, as a bonus action, you can force one target to succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be affected by a random condition:

Roll a d6 to determine the condition:

1. blinded

2. deafened

3. frightened

4. paralyzed

5. poisoned

6. A condition above of your choice.

The condition lasts until the end of the target's next turn.

Hag's Ascendance

At 14th level, you achieve a level of power that allows you to temporarily embody the essence of The Hag herself. As an action, you transform into a hag-like form for 1 minute. During this time, you gain darkvision with a range of 120 feet, resistance to all damage except radiant damage, and advantage on saving throws against spells and magical effects. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
