College of teachings

Bards who follow the college of teachings are ones who know and want to share what they know, knowing much about many subjects you can always get a word of advice from these bards. In and out of combat they help their allies with word of advice in the form of song giving a boost to anyones abilities

Rest of inspiration

while having a short or long rest you can try to educate others of something in the form of song, you can expend a use of your bardic inspiration to give someone a bonus to ability checks equal to half the roll for their song of rest roll (rounded down with minimum of 1) or a bonus to attack rolls equal to one-third for their song of rest roll (rounded down minimum of 1), the inspired person can add a bonus to a roll an amount of times equal to your charisma modifer and the inspiration lasts until their next short or long rest. If you have expended bardic inspiration uses on this feature while having a short or long rest you do not regain them when you have finished.

 

Motivating chain

 if you succeed at an attack roll or saving throw you can motivate someone else to do the same, as a reaction you can give someone the same dice roll result that you made that they can use on there next turn or to succeed the same saving throw. This feature can be used ones per combat encounter.

 

Helping song

when you see someone failing at doing a task you can try to help with music before it goes wrong, as a reaction you can expend someone one use of your bardic inspiration on ability checks that you have expertise in if they fail the roll.

Proficient teacher

starting at sixth level your halved proficiency bonus can now be rounded up for your jack of all trades feature, furthermore you can choose one exta skill to have expertise in.

Passed on knowledge

you can now learn others the magic that comes from music, if you spend 10 minutes teaching someone the basics of music and they hold a musical instrument they can cast a first, second, third, fourth and fifth level spell from your spell list (cannot be magic secrets), if they cast a spell you must use a spell slot of the level of the spell and expend one use of your bardic inspiration. Any spell uses your charisma modifier for attack rolls and damage, if a spell requires a saving throw it uses your spell save dc. This feature lasts for 8 hours and can only be used ones per long rest.
