Monk
Base Class: Monk

Created by one of the most vicious masters in history, Pai Mei, this fighting style is one of the most dangerous fighting styles ever. Monks learn these teachings under immense strain and grueling work to reach their peak performance.  At the pinnacle of their power, these monks could kill a man with one attack.

Pai Mei Grasp

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain the Pai Mei Grasp.  As a reaction on a missed opponent's melee attack, the monk can spend 2 Ki points to grasp the opponent's attack.  If the opponent is using a melee weapon, the opponent must make a strength saving throw to prevent the monk from holding their weapon.  The monk can choose to pull the weapon from the opponent's grasp and throw it 5 feet away or the opponent will be restrained until they release the weapon or take more then 10 points of damage from an attack.  If the opponent is using an unarmed attack, the monk will grasp the attacking limb.  The opponent must make a strength saving throw, if they fail the opponent will be restrained.  The next successful attack dealing more then 10 damage will pull them from the monk's grasp.  If the next attack is the monk's, he can do a tripping attack at +5 to knock the opponent prone or chose to headbutt the opponent for 1d4 + str modifier damage and continue the hold.

The strength save DC equals 12 + your proficiency bonus + your dexterity modifier.  If the opponent saves, no Ki points will be used. This can be used 3 times before it needs to be recharged by a short or long rest.

Eagle Claw Attack

At level 3, the monks regular unarmed attack can be an Eagle Claw attack for 1 Ki point.  This raises the damage of the normal unarmed strike damage by one dice (d4 -> d6, d6 -> d8, d8 -> d10, d10 -> d12) and it becomes a slashing attack that gashes the skin causing 1 point of bleeding damage per turn until the opponent makes a constitution save.  If the opponent moves out of combat, they can make a wisdom(medicine) save vs DC 15 to patch up the gash.

The bleeding damage will not effect any non-living creature or oozes.

Three Inch Punch

Starting at 6th level, the monk can change the bonus unarmed attack to the Three Inch Punch by using 2 Ki points.  This attack gets an extra +3 to hit and on a total of 18 or higher counts as a critical hit using the normal monk unarmed damage dice.  This can only be used 3 times before needing to be recharged with a short or long rest.

Martial Body

At level 11, The monk has become one with himself and can use all his abilities in a fight.  Each use uses 2 Ki points.

If your strength is greater then 14, prior to a monk melee attack, you can muscle in on your opponent, forcing them to spin around away from you.  You then have advantage on your next attack.  This is a bonus action.

If your dexterity is greater then 16, an attack d20 roll of 17 or higher will be a critical hit as long as it would normally be a hit.  (The Ki points will be used after the successful roll if the monk choses to use it)

If your constitution is greater the 14, you gain +5 to all constitution or death saving throws. (This can be a reaction)

If your intelligence is greater then 12, you gain +5 to all saves vs spells. (This can be a reaction)

If you wisdom is greater then 14, you gain a +2 to AC against all humanoid attacks for that round.  (This can be a reaction)

If your charisma is greater then 12, you can use vicious mockery against your opponent as a reaction to a missed attack.

Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique (FPPEHT)

At level 18, the monk will learn the deadliest technique known.  With an attack action and 10 Ki points, the monk can use the FPPEHT on a living humanoid creature.  If the opponent is wearing heavy armor, the attack roll will be -10, in medium armor -5.  On a successful strike, the opponent must immediately make a death saving throw.  If they fail, they instantly die.  If they succeed, they immediately fall unconscious and have 0 hit points.

The FPPEHT can be attempted on any non-humanoid living creature but the attack is at a disadvantage due to the differences in biology of the creature.  This attack does no damage to the undead or oozes.

Regardless of the result of the attack, the Ki points will be used. This can only be used once before needing to be recharged with a long rest.
