Path of the Oni

Some barbarians sink into such a deep and ferocious rage that they actually tap into the magic of a type of demons called Oni. Oni are demons of pure hatred and spite that instill fear into those they prey upon. Oni barbarians Channel this power with their deep anger and actually begin to resemble a demon more than themselves both physically and mentally. 

Visage of the Oni

When you begin raging your very appearance begins to change to resemble that of an Oni. Your skin changes to a deep shape of red or blue as well as becoming rough to the touch, you also grow horns from your forhead.

Finally you gain Proficiency in the intimidation skill if you do not already have it. If you do have Proficiency in the intimidation skill already, you gain expertise instead. 

Demonic Presence

Your body further transforms into that of an Oni giving of a powerful presence that strikes fear into all that stand against you. You emit an aura of hatred and power, creatures starting their turn within 10ft of you must make a wisdom saving throw, DC = 8 + your Proficiency bonus + your constitution modifier. 

You also gain immunity to the frightened condition 

Mind of the Oni

Your metamorphosis into a demon goes as far as effecting the way you think. When you are raging you think like a demon of hate and learn how to capitalize on the fear you cause. While raging, you gain advantage on attacks made against targets who are frightened of you. 

Additionally, you can use your bonus action to inflict psychic damage equal to half of your barbarian level to all creatures who are frightened by you. 

 

Fortitude of the Oni

Your rage causes you to be fully engulfed by demonic powers and alters your being to the very core. While you are raging you are no longer considered to be your native creature typing, instead you are now identified as a monstrosity. Further at the end of each of your turns so long as you did not take fire or radiant damage since the end of your previous turn you regain 10 hp.

While raging you also grow to be one size larger, to a maximum of large and have advantage on any saving throw that would force you to be moved or knocked prone. 

 

Secrets of the Oni

Hostile creatures within your demonic presence have disadvantage on the wisdom saving throw against your demonic presence ability.

You also learn how to recreate the magic of the Oni, you can cast the spell misty step without material components once per long rest. While raging you're also resistant to poison damage and have advantage on rolls against the poisoned and disease conditions.
