Culinary Basics

3rd-level College of Culinary Arts feature

Starting at 3rd level, you learn the Prestidigitation cantrip.

Also, you gain proficiency with cook's utensils and you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells.

Furthermore, after a long rest, you create a rejuvenating meal for your companions. Using your Cook's utensils, you can create up to proficiency modifier meals, anyone who eats this meal loses a point of exhaustion. During a short rest you can create up to proficiency modifier meals, anyone who eats this meal gains additional hit dice equal to your proficiency modifier. 

First Course

3rd-level College of Culinary Arts feature

Starting at level 3, as an action you can use your cook's utensils and spend any number of Bardic Inspiration uses to create tantalizing bite sized appetizers. For each use of Bardic Inspiration expended you create two appetizers, these appetizers last 8 hours and can be consumed as a bonus action. When you create an appetizer, you choose what flavor it is from the following:

Savory. The rich savory flavour of this appetiser satisfies even the deepest of cravings. When consumed, roll your Bardic Inspiration die, the creature is healed by the amount rolled.

Spicy. The hot and spicy flavour of this appetiser rouses the senses. When consumed, the creature can add your Bardic Inspiration die to its next initiative rolls. 'This effect lasts 1 hour or until they roll imitative.

Sweet. The sweet and sugary flavour of this appetizer provides an otherworldly sugar high. When consumed, the creature's speed is increased by 10ft for 1 minute. Once consumed you cannot consume another sweet appetizer for 1 minute.

Salty. The salty and tangy flavor of this appetizer permeates your mouth and body, helping your electrolyte balance. Once consumed the creature gains advantage on constitution saving throws for 1 minute and can spend its reaction to increase its AC by a roll of your bardic inspiration dice until the start of their next turn. This reaction can be used once within a minute of consuming the appetizer.

Bitter. The bitter taste of this treat can end the effect of almost any magical affliction. A creature can consume this treat as a reaction. This treat can end any spell effect or condition afflicting the creature, if that condition or spell is deemed by the gm to be of a spell level equal to or lower than your proficiency modifier. The creature can also move up to one roll of your bardic inspiration dice immediately without provoking any opportunity attacks.

The appetizers are tiny, almost weightless and must be in your inventory if you wish to consume it. As a bonus action, you can throw any number of appetizers to any creature within 30ft of you. Creatures targeted by this feature don't consume the appetizer, instead it falls safety into their inventory. The maximum appetizers that can exist at one time is equal to 2 x your Charisma modifier.

Main Course

6th-level College of Culinary Arts feature

Starting at level 6, you've perfected the first course and have began to develop a more robust meal. Your appetizers are now paired with complementary foods. When you create appetizers you can add an additional flavor from this list.

Savory. Roll your bardic inspiration die twice, instead of once when determining how the feature will be used.

Spicy. For the next minute the creature can use a bonus action to exhale a 15 ft cone of fire that deals 3 rolls of your bardic inspiration dice if a dexterity saving throw is failed. Half damage is taken on a success. The dc for this save is your spell casting DC.

Sweet. The sensation now lasts for double the length of the appetizer. The creature can also add 1d4 to any ability check you make during this duration.

Salty. For the next minute all melee attacks made by the creature deal 1d6 extra force damage. 

Bitter. The rolled effect of your appetizer is made at advantage. The creature can also teleport up 30 feet to a location you can see immediately.
