Bards who are part of the College of Fools are entertainers. They love a good performance, and think that a performance is appropriate at any time. You use your performances quite often as a way to constantly inspire your allies, as well as fight against your enemies. Or you're performing for the sake of performance. Whatever the case may be, you are an entertainer with an entertainer's soul.

Punchline

Starting when you join the College of Fools at 3rd level, your Bardic Inspiration can be used to aid allies in their efforts immediately. As a reaction to an ally within 60 feet of you failing an attack roll or ability check, you can spend a use of your Bardic Inspiration give them a bonus to their roll equal to the number rolled on the Bardic Inspiration die. You can only use this feature once, and regain the ability to do so once you finish a short or long rest.

Pun-ishing Words

Beginning at 3rd level, your words and jests allow you to neutralize enemies. You can spend a use of your Bardic Inspiration to cast tasha's hideous laughter without using a spell slot, even if you don't know the spell. Casting this spell this way reduces the duration to 1 round.

The Show Must Go On!

At 6th level, you can perform more often without tire. You can gain a number of additional uses of Bardic Inspiration equal to your proficiency bonus.

Inspired Performance

Starting at 14th level, you can spend 1 minute practicing performances or coming up with jokes to regain a number of expended Inspiration die equal to half your proficiency modifier once, and regain the ability to do so once you finish a long rest. Additionally, when you use your Bardic Inspiration on someone, you can choose to make the Bardic Inspiration die a d6, and using your Bardic Inspiration this way does not expend a use of Bardic Inspiration.
