Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The Proud Tanker is a class that is a rare variant of the berserker class. The Proud Tanker is a class with the fundamental philosophy of being superior to any and all enemies, they prove this ideology by withstanding damage, from the enemy and then replicating it back.

The Proud Tanker Class works on the idea of withstanding damage from the enemy and then returning the attack, with this idea in practice, the tanker will usually never attack first, however, if they do the reflecting damage ability will work in reverse.

People of this class are usually isolationists and wanderers that pursue strong opponents throughout their continents.

Reflective Damage

(This ability acts as a reaction)

(Level 3) This feature allows for the pc to take damage and then reflect that damage back, with 1.5 x the damage received if the PC's modifier is higher; if the modifier is lower then the damage is /1.5 the damage received is then returned. If PC's modifier is equal then the reflected damage will be x1.

(Level 6) This feature allows for the pc to take damage and then reflect that damage back, with 2 x the damage received if the PC's modifier is higher; if the modifier is lower then the damage is /2 the damage received is then returned. If PC's modifier is equal then the reflected damage will be x1.

(Level 9) This feature allows for the PC to take damage and then reflect that damage back, with 2.5 x the damage received if the PC's modifier is higher; if the modifier is lower then the damage is /2.5 the damage received is then returned. If PC's modifier is equal then the reflected damage will be x1.

(Level 10) This feature allows for the pc to take damage and then reflect that damage back, with 3 x the damage received if the PC's modifier is higher; if the modifier is lower then the damage is /2.5 the damage received is then returned. If PC's modifier is equal then the reflected damage will be x1.

(Level 13) This feature allows for the pc to take damage and then reflect that damage back, with 3.5 x the damage received if the PC's modifier is higher; if the modifier is lower then the damage is /3 the damage received is then returned. If PC's modifier is equal then the reflected damage will be x1.

(Level 15) This feature allows for the pc to take damage and then reflect that damage back, with 4 x the damage received if the PC's modifier is higher; if the modifier is lower then the damage is /3 the damage received is then returned. If PC's modifier is equal then the reflected damage will be x1.

(Level 18) This feature allows for the pc to take damage and then reflect that damage back, with 5 x the damage received if the PC's modifier is higher; if the modifier is lower then the damage is /3.5 the damage receive. If PC's modifier is equal then the reflected damage will be x1.

Functionality Example (Level 3)

For example, lets say that the enemy rolls damage  (D20 + Modifier) = (10 + 2 = 12 damage) attacking  The Proud tanker. If the proud tankers modifier is higher than the enemy the attack will be reflected with 1.5x more damage (12 damage = 18 damage reflected) & If the proud tankers modifier is lower than the enemy the attack will be reflected with 1.5x less damage (12 damage = 8 damage reflected). *The reflected damage does not stop the PC from receiving the original damage.

For example that the proud tanker attacks first (D20 + modifier = 12) 12 damage will be applied to the enemy, but if the enemies modifier is higher or lower, the 1.5x damage will be reflected automatically on to the tanker, this will not affect the attacked persons turn, (Thus the tanker could receive 18 or 8 damage just from there attack), which gives them the option to retaliate with their usual attacking turn; however if the proud tanker is attacked, this provides an instant reflecting attack in return. *The reflected damage does not stop the PC from receiving the original damage.

Mutual Exchange

Sacrificing all of the PC's AC to be added onto the dice that determines hitting chance. Once activated, the duration will last 3 rounds.

Prideful Circle

at the cost of exhaustion, can apply pressure within a 5 meter circle (total diameter) around the PC, that applies depuffs to the enemy (which can be avoided with a wisdom saving throw).

Can apply pressure within a 5 meters circle around the PC, that applies depuffs to the enemy.

This class feature takes up a bonus action per turn to maintain the pressure.

For every round this feature is activated, the PC cannot move and is required to do wisdom saving throws. This depuff feature effects everyone within the 5 meter radius. (reusable after a long rest) (Condition/exhaustion)

The no movability applies to the movement of the legs, however, this movement restriction doesn't affect the PC from the waist up.

Protective Aggro

Forces non-intelligent creatures/monsters to attack the PC instead of the other players. For intelligent creatures/monsters, (a wisdom saving throw is required, for these types of creatures).

When this ability is used, all creatures in the battle are aware of your existence, which can act as a distraction for a single moment, even with intelligent creatures.

Intimidating Presence

Beginning at 10th level, you can use your action to frighten someone with your menacing presence. When you do so, choose one creature that you can see within 30 feet of you. If the creature can see or hear you, it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn. On subsequent turns, you can use your action to extend the duration of this effect on the frightened creature until the end of your next turn. This effect ends if the creature ends its turn out of line of sight or more than 60 feet away from you.

If the creature succeeds on its saving throw, you can’t use this feature on that creature again for 24 hours.

Hubris Stance

This feature is an internalised version of the prideful circle with further levels of control and understanding allowing for the techniques ability to act in reverse to the prideful circle feature and with higher precision; allowing for the Hubris Stance feature to buff companions and depuffs perceived enemy's.

The ability range is 10 meters and allows the PC to provide two buffs and one depuff to selected individuals. (only to those that can be perceived).
