Bane's Blackguards are rogues who follow the god of tyranny and fear, Bane. They are enforcers of his will, using fear and intimidation to control others.

Spellcasting

Spellcasting

When you reach 3rd level, you gain the ability to cast spells. See Spells Rules for the general rules of spellcasting and the Spells Listing for the warlocks spell list.

Cantrips

You learn three cantrips of your choice from the warlock spell list. You learn another warlock cantrip of your choice at 10th level.

Spell Slots

Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your warlock spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.

Spellcasting Ability

Your spell casting ability is charisma as you gain access to the warlock spell list

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your charisma modifier

Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your charisma modifier

Aura of Dread:

Starting at 3rd level, you radiate an aura of fear and dread. Enemies within 10 feet of you have disadvantage on Wisdom saving throws against fear effects.

Bane's Retribution

At 9th level, you can channel Bane's wrath into your strikes. Once per short rest, you can make a sneak attack that deals additional psychic damage equal to your Rogue level.

Master of Fear

At 13th level, your mastery over fear becomes absolute. You gain immunity to fear effects, and you can use your action to unleash a terrifying presence, causing all creatures within 30 feet to make a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for one minute. (this saving throw is against that of the rogues spell save dc)

Avatar of Tyranny

At 17th level, you can temporarily become an avatar of Bane, this last for 1 minute during which your weapons all count as magical, you gain resistance to nonmagical piercing slashing and bludgeoning damage and advantage on intimidation. additionally any creature making a save against your charm does so with disadvantage
