Plague Doctor

The Plague Doctor is a master of both deadly toxins and life-saving remedies. They navigate the fine line between life and death, wielding poisons, diseases, and their extensive knowledge of medicine to heal allies and incapacitate foes.

Plague Affinity

Starting at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Medicine skill expertise if you already have it. Additionally, you gain proficiency with the Healer's Kit and Alchemist's Supplies. You can use an action to spend a use of your healer's kit as a bonus action to administer basic first aid, restoring hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier + your rogue level to a creature you touch. Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.

Toxic Strike

Starting at 3rd level, you've honed your knowledge of poisons and diseases to deliver debilitating strikes to your foes. When you hit a creature with a finesse weapon, you can choose to use your Sneak Attack feature to deal poison, necrotic or acid damage in addition to your regular damage.

Additionally, you can apply poison or disease to a weapon as a bonus action. The next time you hit a creature with that weapon, it must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or suffer the poison or disease's effects.

You have a limited supply of poisons and diseases, and you can apply them to your weapons a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier before needing to resupply.

Evasive Remedies

Starting at 9th level, your medical knowledge allows you to concoct remedies on the fly. You can use your Cunning Action to administer a healing potion or antidote to yourself or an adjacent willing creature. You can also use your bonus action to remove one ongoing condition (e.g., poisoned, blinded, paralyzed) from yourself or an adjacent willing creature once per short rest.

Virulent Strike

By 13th level, your mastery over toxins and diseases deepens. When you use your Toxic Strike feature, the saving throw DC increases by 2, and the target suffers additional poison damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Pandemic Aura

When you reach 17th level, you can create an aura of contagion that extends in a 10-foot radius around you. As a bonus action, you can activate or deactivate this aura. While active, hostile creatures that start their turn within the aura must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or suffer 3d6 poison damage. Additionally, any ally starting their turn within the aura regains hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier, regaining all expended uses after finishing a long rest.

Casting Spells
As a rogue, you use tools when you cast your spells. When describing your spellcasting, think about how you’re using a tool to perform the spell effect. If you cast lesser restoration using alchemist’s supplies, you could be quickly producing a salve. You gain spell slots at the same rate as full casters such as Wizards and Sorcerers, but are limited to the spells listed above.
