Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Dance know that the Words of Creation can't merely be contained within speech or even song; they are uttered by the movements of celestial bodies and flow through the motions of even the smallest creatures. To these Bards, dance is art freed from the constraints of a single point in space and time; it is meaning unconfined by narrow definitions of words and structures of grammar. The College of Dance practices a way of being in harmony with the ever-whirling cosmos, emphasizing agility, speed, and grace.

Dancer's Grace

When you join the College of Dance at 3rd level, you gain the ability to imbue your movements with agile grace that grants the following benefits:

Dancer's Prop: Your practice occasionally calls for a little more than your body alone. You can enhance your performance with a dancer's prop, an extension of your own body. Once per long rest, you can touch a spear, quarterstaff, or some other prop such as a ribbon, umbrella, or fan, and imbue it with part of your grace. Your prop can be used as a spellcasting focus for your spells, and when you attack with that weapon, you can use your Charisma modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls. You can only have one dancer's prop at a time, and creating additional props reverts any previous ones.

Flowing Strikes: Your unarmed strikes now flow into your dancing, allowing you to strike with intent and grace. Your unarmed strikes now deal damage equal to your bardic inspiration die, and use Charisma modifier, instead of Strength for attack and damage rolls. Additionally, whenever you make an attack with an unarmed strike or your dancer's prop, you may spend a use of your bardic inspiration to make an additional unarmed strike as a bonus action.

Unarmored Defense: Your swift movements aid you in avoiding harm. While not wearing armor, your AC equals 13 + your Dexterity Modifier.

Allegro

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to change the tempo of the battlefield. Whenever you roll for initiative, you can grant up to 4 creatures you can see a bonus to their initiative score equal to your proficiency bonus.

Dance Recital

Starting at 6th level, you can perform an inspiring dance, empowering your allies with beautiful movement.

At the start of your turn, as an action, you can forfeit your turn to perform a dance recital. When you do so, you become incapacitated for the duration. You designate up to 4 creatures within 30 feet of you to be part of your dance troupe. Until the start of your next turn, troupe members gain advantage on Dexterity saving throws, their movement speed increases by 15 feet, and they can make an additional attack whenever they take the attack action.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Dance Partner

At 14th level, you can now share the beauty of dance with an ally. As an action, you can designate a friendly creature you can see as your dance partner. As your dance partner, the creature gains a +1 bonus to its AC while within 5 feet of you. Additionally, whenever you give your dance partner a bardic inspiration die, they gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your charisma modifier. These effects last until you designate a new dance partner.
