Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians that are a part of the Path of the Sand Soul have learned to direct and manipulate sand. These barbarians are almost impossible to escape from, dragging you across the battlefield and trapping you under their dunes.

Sandy Sanctuary

Beginning when you choose this path at 3rd level, you are able to create and manipulate sand around you. While you are raging, sand appears on the ground around you in a 30 ft. radius. Any creature other than you counts this area as difficult terrain. When you start your rage, you can choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus. The chosen creatures are not affected by this feature.

The radius of the sands increases by 10 ft. at 6th level (40 ft.), 10th level (50 ft.), and 14th level (60 ft.).

Seizing Sands

You have learned to control the sands that aid you to a greater effect. Starting at 6th level, as a bonus action while raging, you can choose a number of creatures within your sand sanctuary equal to half of your proficiency bonus rounded up. The chosen creatures must make a strength saving throw (DC = 8 + proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). On a failure, the creature is restrained by the sands until the start of your next turn.

Driving Dunes

You learn to propel and drag creatures through your shifting sands. Starting at 10th level, while raging, either as a bonus action or when you use your seizing sands feature, you target a creature within your sand sanctuary. If you use this feature when you use seizing sands, it must target one of the creatures that was targeted by seizing sands. You move the target in any direction up to a number of feet equal to 5 x your proficiency bonus. If the creature leaves your sand sanctuary during this movement, this feature ends. If the target of this feature is unwilling, it must make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) to resist the effect. In addition, if the target is unwilling, the creature takes 1d4 bludgeoning damage for every 10 ft. it moves from this feature.

Sweeping Sandstorm

Your sands have reached their fullest potential, creating a sandstorm around you. Starting at 14th level, while raging, the area in a 60 ft. sphere around you is lightly obscured.

In addition, when you use your driving dunes feature, you can target up to 3 creatures instead of 1.
