Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

The Paladins of Time have sworn their life to serving gods of time. They seem to always arrive at the exact moment they are needed and work to guide the worlds events towards the most favorable timeline. This might put them against mighty villains, but it could also make them face someone trying to do good. They are always able to predict their enemies next move and sometimes even know the consequences of actions they haven’t even performed yet. While the direction of their timeline is always shifting they always believe that they are doing what needs to be done and they are on the right side of history.

They focus on utility and buffs and debuffs. Enforcing the timeline and using it in their favour.

Oath Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed in the Oath of Time Spells table. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how oath spells work.

Oath of Time Spells

Paladin Level Spells
3rd Longstrider , Silvery Barbs
5th Augury , Hold Person
9th Haste , Slow
13th Divination , Freedom of Movement
17th Legend Lore , Modify Memory

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how Channel Divinity works.

Guidance of the Timeline. You or any creature of your choice gains advantage on their next saving throw, ability check or attack roll.

Time distortion. You can repeat the last action you made at the moment you use your Chanel Divinity. The repeat won't cost you any resources other than the channel divinity. The repeat doesn't trigger chained actions like multiattack and aoe buffs like Circle of Power don’t stack. You can't copy the effects of magic items more powerful than rare or if the item states that the effect can’t be used again (i.e. “This trait can’t be used until the next dawn).

Aura of Divination

Your knowledge about the timeline aids you and your allies in combat.

You and all allies within 10 ft gain a bonus on their attack rolls and initiative equal to your charisma modifier.

(This increases to 30 ft at level 18)

Predetermined Event

You force events down their predetermined paths, ensuring that the timeline keeps its course. When you or a creature you can see makes an attack roll, ability check or saving throw you can use your reaction to ignore the dice roll and instead decide if the roll will succeed or fail if that would have been possible. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expanded uses when you finish a short rest.

Chrono Surge

Your loyalty to the timeline has rewarded you with the ability to rest and recover faster. Short rests now take 6 seconds of time. Long rests are shortened by half.
