Druid
Base Class: Druid

Some druids of the moon have learned to take a form between their normal and beast form. They prefer this form because it provides a high amount of versitility.

Hybrid Form

As a bonus action instead of transforming into a beast you can expend a wild shape charge or a spell slot equal or higher  to the CR of the beast to transform into a Hybrid Form of the beast and yourself.

You can stay in a Hybrid Form for a number of hours equal to half your druid level (rounded down). You then revert to your normal form unless you expend another use of this feature. You can revert to your normal form earlier by using a bonus action on your turn. You automatically revert if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or die.

While you are transformed, the following rules apply:

  • Your Strength and dexterity are replaced by the statistics of the beast if they are higher. You also retain all of your skill and saving throw proficiencies, in addition to gaining those of the creature. If the creature has the same proficiency as you and the bonus in its stat block is higher than yours, use the creature's bonus instead of yours. If the creature has any legendary or lair actions, you can't use them.
  • While transformed, you gain temporary hit points equal to your druid level times the beasts constitution modifier. If you revert as a result of dropping to 0 hit points, you are knocked down.
  • You can cast spells, however you do not add your proficiency bonus to your spell attack roll or your spell save dc in this form. This does not affect the effects spells or actions that are of a spell , that you've already cast.
  • You retain the benefit of any features from your class, race, or other source and can use them including any of your special senses, such as darkvision.
  • You can attack with weapons or with the attacks of your beast half. Your beast attacks do not use the beasts attack roll modifier instead you use your strength modifier + proficiency bonus.

Beast Weapon Combo

Starting at level 6, you can replace one of the attack in the beasts multiattack with a weapon attack. You can also do a multi attack with one weapon attack and one beast attack even if the beast normally can't multi attack.

Chimera Hybrid

Starting at level 10, you can add part of additional beast into your hybrid form. It can give you its speed, sense, an ability or one of its stats. Also your beast attacks in hybrid form count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Experienced Hybrid

Starting at level 14, you no longer lose your proficiency bonus on spell attacks and spell save dc while in hybrid form.

Growth

For your Hybrid form you can choose beasts up to cr 1. Starting with level 6 you can choose a beast with a cr up to your druid level divided by 3. The other restrictions for beasts still apply.
