Base Class: Barbarian
This path sets a barbarian on their way to become a berserker, killing all that stand in their way. Sure a barbarian is a tank, but as they say, the best defense is overwhelming offense.
One last swing
Starting at 3rd level, when you pick this path, when you take the attack action you can choose to make 1 additional attack, this attack is made with disadvantage and if you miss it the target of your attack can use their reaction to make an opportunity attack against you with advantage.
Starting at 17th level you can make 2 additional attacks when using this feature.
Heavy handed
Starting at 3rd level, the rage damage you deal is increased by 1d4 per hit.
At 10th level the damage increases to a d6, at 14th the damage increases to a d8, at 17th level the damage increases to a d10, and at 20th level the damage increases to a d12.
I like those odds
Starting at 6th level when you are hit with a melee weapon attack you can use your reaction to reduce the attack roll by 1d4 + your strength modifier.
If you successfully make the attack miss, and there is another hostile creature within your melee range, you can make the attack hit them instead. When you do this the attack deals an additional amount of damage equal to your rage bonus.
If you fail then you take double the amount of damage.
The dice used to reduce the incoming attack increases in line with your heavy hands ability.
Go big or go home
Starting at 10th level when you make a reckless attack, before you roll, you can choose to make it so that you deal double damage on a hit. If you miss this attack you fall prone, additionally the next attack that hits you, before the start of your next turn, deals double damage.
The double damage by these attacks are not criticals and double all the damage including any flat bonuses.
Deadly damage
Starting at 14th level you score critical hits on a 19 as well as a 20. Additionally hits against you are considered critical hits on a 19 or 20.
This increases to include 18 at level 18.
Never ending rampage
Starting at 14th level when you are reduced to 0hp if you are raging you do not fall unconscious, instead you regain all your hp and roll a d4. After that number of rounds you fall unconscious and instantly fail 2 death saving throws. During this time you are considered raging and cannot end your rage. If you are reduced to 0hp during this time you instantly die.
You cannot use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
At level 20 you roll 2d4 instead of 1d4.
