Colossus Apparatuses are unique in their approach to spellcasting. They harness their magical prowess to create and manipulate intricate machines and devices, enhancing their combat capabilities in ways that few other spellcasters can match. At the heart of their power lies the fusion of magic and mechanical engineering, granting them the ability to weave spells into the very fabric of their creations.

Fabricate Construct

 3rd-level Colossus Apparatus feature

You've learned how to create a colossus construct. Using tinker's tools or smith's tools, you can take an action to magically create a medium, small or large magical construct in an unoccupied space on a horizontal surface within 5 feet of you., Additionally when you reach level 10 in this class you can make it Huge instead.

Once you create a construct, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest or until you expend a 1st spell slot or higher to create one You can have only one construct at a time and can't create one while your construct is present. when you hit certain levels the minimum spell slot to create a construct increases as shown by the construct spell slot table, constructs made by this feature can be dispelled by the dispel magic spell, having the DC equal to 8+ your Proficiency bonus+ your Intelligence Modifier.

The construct is a magical object. Regardless of size, the construct has an AC of 16 and a number of hit points equal to four times your artificer level + half your constitution mod for each level.(rounded up) It is immune to poison damage and psychic damage. If it is forced to make an ability check or a saving throw, treat all its ability scores as 10 (+0). It disappears if it is reduced to 0 hit points or after 1 hour. You can dismiss it early as an action.

When you create the construct, you determine its appearance. And You also decide which type it is, choosing from the options on the colossus model table. As part of the same action as creating your construct you can enter it granting you half cover while it has at least 1 hit point.

Colossus Model

3rd-level Colossus Apparatus feature

You can customize your colossus construct. When you do so, choose one of the following construct models: Ronin or Northstar. The model you choose gives you special benefits while you wear it.

Each model includes a special weapon. When you attack with that weapon, you can add your Intelligence modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, to the attack and damage rolls.

You can change the construct's model whenever you finish a long rest, provided you have smith's tools in hand.

Colossus Apparatus: Colossus Model: Ronin
You design your construct to be in the front line of conflict. It has the following features:

Arc Slasher. the construct comes with a massive arc sword. as a simple melee weapon and deals 1d6 magical slashing+1d8 force damage on a hit, once per turn when a creature is hit by the arc slasher you can force it to make a Dexterity saving throw if it's large or smaller, on a failed save the target is knocked prone

Phase dash. As a bonus action up to your PB amount of times per long rest or until you create another Ronin, you can enter the Ethereal plane until the end of your current turn.,You can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain, as well as see and affect creatures and objects on the Ethereal Plane. You take 1d10 force damage if you end your turn inside an object or creature.

Colossus Apparatus: Colossus Model: Northstar

Rail Gun. this construct gains a rail gun, it counts as a simple ranged weapon, with a normal range of 90 feet and a long range of 1000 feet, and it deals 1d12 magical piercing damage on a hit,Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with it you can force the creature and every creature within 5 ft. of it to make a dexterity saving throw or take 1d6 fire damage

Vtol Jets. as a bonus action you can gain a flying speed equal to your current walking speed. this speed lasts for an amount of rounds equal to half your Intelligence Modifier(rounded down), after which you have to land to cool down the jets as the Northstar slowly descends, you have to use a bonus action to cool down the jets before they can be used to fly again.

Extra Attack


5th-level Colossus Apparatus feature

You can attack twice, rather than once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn

Self Destruct

9th-level Colossus Apparatus feature

As an action while inside the construct you can cause it to self destruct after launching you 30 ft into the air, forcing every creature within 30 ft. of it to make a dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take 6d6 force damage on a failed save, and half as much on a successful one, as you slowly descend to the ground after the explosion taking no fall damage.

Colossus Core

15th-level Colossus Apparatus feature

Your Colossus Constructs gain additional benefits based on their model, as shown below., additionally you gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls while using the construct's special weapons.


Ronin. Arc slasher now deals 2d6 magical slashing and 2d8 force damage on hit, additionally you gain a new action while using the Ronin:

Cleave. As an action, you can expand your sword beyond it's range for a moment cleaving in a 20-foot cone in front of you. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw equal to your spell save DC, taking 2d6 magical slashing + 2d8 force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.


Northstar. The Rail Gun now deals 2d12 magical piercing damage on hit, additionally you gain a new action while using the Northstar:

Concentrated Barrage. As an action you can focus on a single target instead of attacking multiple, make 3 attacks against one target each doing 2d10 magical piercing damage

Tool Proficiency

3rd-level Colossus Apparatus feature

You gain proficiency with Smiths tools. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan's tools of your choice

Colossus Apparatus Spells

You always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Colossus Apparatus Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don't count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.
