College of Riddles

Those of the college of riddles are masters of obscuration and misdirection. Their words, actions, and even their spells are riddles meant to confound even the cleverest minds they are capable of telling grand deceptions without ever speaking a lie.

Obscurantist

When you join the college of Riddles at 3rd level you have mastered the art of obscuring secrets. You gain proficiency in the deception skill. Double your proficiency bonus for any ability check you make using this skill.

Riddling Jibe

Starting at level 3 you learn to confound and confuse your others even in the midst of a deadly fray.

You learn the Vicious Mockery cantrip. If you already know it you learn one other cantrip of your choice from the Bard spell list.

When you cast Vicious Mockery you may expend one use of Bardic Inspiration to make the target automatically fail his saving throw against the spell. When you do roll one Bardic Inspiration die and add the number rolled to the damage rolled for the spell.

Mantle of Befuddlement

At 6th level, you have have mastered the art of confounding others. Whenever you roll a contested ability check you may impose disadvantage on one other creature in the contest.

Master Riddler

Starting at 14th level, whenever a creature within 30ft of you that you can see makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw at disadvantage you force that creature to reroll one of the dice of your choice.
