Solar Sorcery

Rare sorcerers with the ability to harness the power of Sken. Your innate magic was a gift to you from the God Corathin, there is no apparent connection between the bloodlines of Solar Sorcerers. They are highly sought after as their power to harness Sken's light is necessary to power the Cities of Hemel.

Corathin's Blessing

The arcane magic you command is infused with the power of Corathin. You can speak, read, and write Primordial.

Harness Sken

Starting at 1st level, you learn the spell Harness Sken, allowing you to move the solar power of Sken as well as make attacks with it when near a Steora.

Solar Strength

At 6th level, you gain resistance to radiant and fire damage. In addition, whenever you start casting a spell of 1st level or higher that deals radiant or fire damage, solar magic erupts from you. This eruption causes creatures of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of you to take radiant or fire damage (choose each time this ability activates) equal to half your sorcerer level.

Sken Exposure

Starting at 7th level, you absorb the power of Sken. If you fail a save or an attack roll you may roll 1 d8 and add it to the total, possibly changing the outcome. You may add more d8s than the first at the cost of 5 hit points per die. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Solar Summoning

Starting at 14th level, once per long rest you are able to summon the power of the sun. You gain the spell Solar Summoning, you are able to use this without expending a spell slot.

One With Sken

At 18th level you gain immunity to radiant and fire damage.

You also gain the ability to, as a bonus action, summon the light of Sken and blind any enemy within 5 feet of you for 1 round.

Corathin's Disciple

At 18th level you are able to commune with Corathin once per day. Corathin may speak directly with you for 3 minutes, attack one time (providing another use of the Solar Summoning spell), or heal you for 1d20 hit points.
