Base Class: Cleric
The Cleric of the Barbarian Domain is usually the spiritual leader of her tribe. This position affords her deference and respect from all members of the tribe, and in some cases even fear. The tribes look to the Shaman as the one who is the direct contact with their gods and will listen to her on all things that may touch upon that aspect of their lives. An adventurer who is part of the Barbarian Domain may be exploring on a quest from their God, or adventuring in order to gain experience of the world at the behest of their elder, or could be an outcast from their tribe questing to regain the favor needed to return.
Shamanic Acolyte
At 1st level, you learn one druid cantrip of your choice. You also gain proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: Athletics, Performance, or Survival.
Bonus Proficiency
As the lore keeper for your tribe you are well versed in the oral histories and traditions of your tribe. At 1st level, you gain proficiency in history.
Channel Divinity: Enhance Ability
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to enhance the abilities of your companions.
As an action, you present your holy symbol and invoke the name of your deity. Choose one ally that can see you within 30 feet of you. That ally will gain the effects of the spell Enhance Ability.
Soften the Blow
Starting at 6th level, when you or a creature within 30 feet of you takes physical damage, you can use your reaction to grant resistance to the creature against that instance of the damage.
Divine Strike
At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with divine energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 cold, fire, or lightning damage (your choice) to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
Barbarian Shaman
At 17th level, you gain the ability to temporarily infuse one ally of your choice with the powers of your God. While your ally is under the effects of this ability they take on some aspects and characteristics of your tribes totem form. They are granted resistance to physical damage, but not magical damage, an extra 30 feet of movement speed per round and if the totem can fly they sprout wings made of pure energy that look like the totems wings. These wings provide a fly speed of 60'. These effects last 10 minutes or until dismissed and the ability resets after either a short or long rest.
