Base Class: Barbarian
A raging warrior launches himself at the enemy, bringing his axe down upon them. As he does this, a dark aura surrounds him as he coughs blood, strengthening his attack and allowing him to slay his opponent in an instant. These warriors are Barbarians that follow the Path of the Blood-Fuelled, who are Barbarians that sacrifice their own life force to enhance their abilities and defeat their enemies.
No Pain, No Gain
At 3rd level when you adopt this path, you gain access to a set of dice known as “Blood Dice”. This dice takes on the form of a d6 at 3rd level, a d8 at 6th level, a d10 at 10th level and a d12 at 14th level. Once per turn, when making a melee attack, you can spend one of your Blood Dice to enhance your attack by sacrificing HP. You deal an extra amount of Necrotic Damage equal to the result of the roll and take Necrotic Damage equal to half of the result of the roll, rounded up. You have an amount of Blood Dice equal to your level in Barbarian, which replenish after a long rest.
Life Absorption
Beginning at 6th level, you can now heal yourself whenever you mortally wound or kill an opponent. When entering rage, you can spend one Blood Die to replenish an amount of HP equal to the roll. Additionally, when raging, if you reduce a creature to 0 HP, you heal 2d6 HP.
Hardened Blood
Beginning at 10th level, as a bonus action, you can spend one of your Blood Die to gain temporary HP equal to the result of the roll.
Mirrored Suffering
Beginning at 14th level, as an action, you can spend 2 of your Blood Die to curse a target within 30 feet of you. You can curse only one creature at a time. Whenever you would take damage, the cursed creature takes Necrotic damage equal to half of the damage that you took. The curse ends whenever a cursed creature would drop to 0 hit points.

Posted Oct 13, 2023Hello! I forgot to mention this in the description, but attempting to curse another creature while Mirrored Suffering is already active causes the first curse to end and be transferred to the other creature (this still costs 2x Blood Dice).
