Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Soul Swallower Warlocks share one fact in common: they derive their power not from a pact or bargain, but from consuming souls. Your first soul could have been anyone. Perhaps it was a legendary sorcerer? Or maybe it was a commoner with a penchant for baking phallic-shaped pies? Regardless of who it was, you are forever changed. Their voice resides in your mind, speaking to you from the dark corners of your psyche carrying demands, requests, or urgings.

The effects are not clear to see to most but clerics know something is dreadfully wrong with you. Paladins sense the profane act you have committed. For each soul you feed upon, new minds lend their voices to the chorus of demands and comments in your thoughts. Do you suppress them? A means to an end? Or do you embrace their twisted ideas and become an outlet for the pain you have inflicted?

Rest for the Wicked

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Walking Reliquary

Starting at 10th level, you are so swollen with souls that you find that necromancy no longer affects you. However holy influence hurts now only you, but the spirits that give you power. You have immunity to necrotic damage but are vulnerable to radiant damage.

Soul Killer

Starting at 14th level, when you hit a creature with a melee attack, you can use this feature to rip and tear at the creature's soul, provided they have one. If the target is not an undead, fiend, or divine it takes 10d10 necrotic damage as parts of its soul wither away, leaving the body to partially wither.

Creatures affected by this feature cannot have their soul healed without the use of Divine Intervention or the Wish spell and are permanently traumatized by the experience.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
