Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

A barbarian going down the Path of the Vampiric ultimately feeds off of the energy of those around them. In doing so their rage tends to lead them down a road stained with red where nothing else matters. The intense feelings of bloodlust lead those down this path tend to lead naturally into a thrill of the hunt mentality.

Blood Frenzy

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you go into a blood-induced euphoric state when you rage. Once per attack action, on hit, the vampiric essence within you allows you to absorb the blood essence of your target's wound healing you equal to your Constitution modifier. This effect cannot be applied against a target without blood.

Vampiric Features

As a partial embodiment of what it means to be a vampire comes their charms. While outside of rage, you have the ability to make a creature do a Wisdom Saving Throw or be under the effect of a Charmed spell as a bonus action. While in rage, you have the ability to make a creature make a Wisdom Saving Throw or be Frightened for 2 turns as a bonus action.
Both of these effects are attached to a single resource equal to your proficiency bonus. Both effects have a range limited to 15 feet.

(DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier)

Bloodless Agony

Beginning at 6th level, while under the effects of your rage, your melee attacks drain your enemies of their own blood. On hit during rage, any creature that has blood must succeed a Constitution Saving Throw or experience disadvantage on their attack rolls until the start of your next turn from blood loss. Creatures without blood automatically succeed this check.

(DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier)

Manic Bloodlust

Beginning at 10th level, you can choose to forgo the healing effect of consuming your target's blood essence during your rage in exchange for a boost to your next attack roll and damage. If you choose to forgo the healing, your next attack will be empowered and receive a +5 to hit and damage rolls.

Sanguine Embodiment

Starting at 14th level, you can manifest a far more vampiric form during your rage. Once per long rest, you can trigger Sanguine Embodiment allowing you to take on the following vampiric features during your rage:
- Regeneration ~ You regain 10 hit points at the start of your turn as long as this feature is active.
- Flight ~ You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed.
