Base Class: Cleric
The Hunger Domain represents the primal need to feed and grow. Adherents to this domain seek to test and consume the creatures of the world, finding the most worthy morsels to bring to divine communion with their god.
Domain Spells
You gain domain spells at the cleric levels listed in the Hunger Domain Spells table. See the Divine Domain class feature for how domain spells work.

Bonus Proficiencies
You gain proficiency with heavy armor, and in the intimidation or survival skill.
Divine Digestion
As an action, you can consume an non-magical object or dead creature one size class smaller than you and extract information about that object through divine digestion. You can ask one of the following questions, receiving an answer no more than 5 words in length. The object can't be a part of a bigger structure, such as a section of a wall or the top half of a locked chest.
Dead creature:
- What name was this creature commonly known by?
- What was the last thing they saw before they died?
- What were their last words?
- To whom was this creature loyal to?
Item:
- Who was the last creature to touch it?
- What was the last purpose it was used for?
- In what places has it been within the last hour?
- If it had or has an owner, what name were/are they known by?
At the DM’s discretion, you may ask a different question of similarly limited scope instead of the options listed above.
You can use this feature once per long rest, unless you spend a spell slot of 1st or higher level to use it again.
Channel Divinity: Feeding Frenzy
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to drive your allies into a violent feeding frenzy.
As an action, you present your holy symbol and instill deep, violent hunger in nearby allies. Up to three friendly creatures within 20 feet of you can use their reactions to make one melee weapon attack or unarmed strike against a creature they can reach. Creatures gain temporary hit points equal to half the damage they deal with this attack.
Righteous Bite
As an action, you can make a melee spell attack against a creature you can reach. On a hit, you deal 2d10 + your Wisdom modifier piercing damage. If the target has less than half their hit points, you make this attack with advantage. Once per short rest, you can empower this bite on a hit and gain one of the creature’s damage resistances for one minute.
Divine Strike
At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with primal hunger. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 acid damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
Swallow
As an action you can force a creature that is no more than one size larger than you and that you can reach to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, deal 2d10 piercing damage and 2d10 acid damage, and you swallow the target.
The swallowed target is blinded and restrained, and it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside your body. It takes 3d10 acid damage at the start of each of its turns. You can only have one creature swallowed at a time. A swallowed creature can use their action to make a Strength (athletics) check against your spell save DC, escaping on a success. If you fall unconscious, the swallowed creature is no longer restrained and can escape from you using 5 feet of movement, exiting prone.
