Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

The Infernal Conjurer subclass for Warlocks draws its power from a variety of dark and sinister Fiendish Patrons who reside in the Lower Planes. Here is a list of potential Fiendish Patrons for Warlocks following the Infernal Conjurer subclass:

  1. Lord of the Nine: Make a pact with a powerful Archduke of the Nine Hells, such as Asmodeus himself, or one of his loyal followers. These patrons offer vast knowledge of Fiendish magic and connections to the highest echelons of Hell's hierarchy.

  2. Abyssal Prince: Form a pact with a chaotic and unpredictable Demon Lord, like Demogorgon, Baphomet, or Orcus. These Patrons provide access to the chaotic and destructive powers of the Abyss, along with legions of demonic minions at your command.

  3. Yugoloth Broker: Forge an alliance with a cunning Yugoloth lord, a shrewd and neutral party in the Blood War. These Patrons grant you access to Yugoloth mercenaries, expert negotiators, and a deep understanding of the intrigues of the Lower Planes.

  4. Rakshasa Trickster: Establish a connection with a Rakshasa, a sinister and manipulative fiend known for its cunning and deceit. Your Patron may be an ancient Rakshasa seeking to exploit the mortal realm for their nefarious purposes.

  5. Hag Coven: Enter into a pact with a powerful coven of Hags, crones of dark magic. These Patrons offer you insight into the twisted and deceptive ways of the Fey, alongside their own diabolical knowledge and enchantments.

  6. Nightmare Harvester: Establish a bond with a Night Hag, a being that thrives on tormenting mortals in their dreams. Your Patron provides access to the realm of nightmares, cursed artifacts, and the ability to manipulate and control the deepest fears of others.

Pact of Fiends and Infernal Boon

Pact of Fiends

At 1st level, when you choose this subclass, you gain proficiency in the Arcana skill if you don't already have it. Additionally, you gain access to a special book, the "Infernal Grimoire," which allows you to communicate and control the Fiends you summon. You can use this book as your spellcasting focus.

Infernal Boon

Your connection with Fiends empowers your summoning abilities. When you summon a Fiend using a spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose to sacrifice your own life force to enhance the summoned Fiend. You lose hit points equal to four times the Challenge Rating (CR) of the summoned Fiend. In exchange, the summoned Fiend gains the following benefits:

  • It gains temporary hit points equal to the hit points you lost.
  • It adds your Charisma modifier to its attack and damage rolls.
  • It has advantage on saving throws against spells and magical effects. These benefits last for 1 hour or until the Fiend is dismissed or reduced to 0 hit points.

Infernal Resilience

At 6th level, your connection with Fiends grants you increased durability. When you use your Infernal Boon feature to enhance a summoned Fiend, you gain temporary hit points equal to half the hit points you lost. In addition, you have resistance to fire damage, as the essence of the Infernal realm flows through you.

Fiendish Mastery

Your mastery over Fiendish creatures deepens at 10th level. When you use your Infernal Boon feature to enhance a summoned Fiend, you can choose to double the hit point loss. In exchange, the summoned Fiend gains the following additional benefits:

  • It gains resistance to non-magical weapon attacks.
  • It can make an additional attack as part of its Attack action.
  • It can use its reaction to make an opportunity attack when an enemy approaches within 10 feet of it.

Infernal Conduit

At 14th level, you become a powerful conduit for Fiendish magic. You can use your Infernal Boon feature to enhance a summoned Fiend without losing hit points. Additionally, when you enhance a summoned Fiend, you can choose to share your own spellcasting abilities with it. The Fiend gains the ability to cast one of your Warlock spells without expending a spell slot, using your Warlock spell save DC and spell attack bonus.
