Base Class: Warlock
Whether you were born with it, or invited by secret rite, or possessed by happenstance, an enduring spiritual being of longevity and great power has selected you as the new incarnation of its mortal form. Possibly inhabited by a powerful, potentially fiendish spirit, or born with a Seldarine soul that has seen many lives, the Reincarnation is inherently tied to an ancient entity of great talent and long memory. This new mortal form is not yet ready to comprehend the many secrets stored within the lifetimes of memories held, it may never be. For, as has been proven so many times before, the flesh is weaker than the spirit and will fail, die and waste away while the spirit searches for a new host to inhabit. But maybe, maybe this will be the form to take the spirit to new heights of power and achievement. Maybe this time...
Awakened Memory
Aware of past lives lived and with memories you can recall which are not your own, you find yourself equipped with natural skills you never learned in this lifetime and yet possess nonetheless. You gain proficiency in Medium Armor and shields. You gain Expertise in one skill of your choice. You learn any combination of two languages, artisans tools, musical instruments, Martial Weapons or Heavy Armor.
Supernatural Protection
Possessed by an ancient spirit which has survived countless encounters, your instincts to survive are remarkable. You gain a bonus to all saving throws equal to your Charisma modifier and gain proficiency in once saving throw of your choice. You gain expertise in any one skill and learn one language, tool, musical instrument, martial weapons or heavy armor proficiency.
Masterful Reincarnation
Having endured death many times and with multiple lifetimes of practice, you are more proficient than any druid in selecting the available materials to form a new body. You learn the Reincarnate spell, which does not count against your spells known, but still requires a pact magic spell slot (or 5th level spell slot if multiclassed) to cast. When you cast Reincarnate you may roll the percentile dice three times and select one result to determine the race / species to be reincarnated as. Alternatively, if you have the blood of a humanoid (not the decedent being reincarnated) slain within the last 24 hours, you may choose to reincarnate as a member of that race / species.
You also gain expertise in another skill, and gain proficiency in one language, artisans tool, musical instrument, martial weapons or heavy armor.
Contingent Reincarnation
You have learned an ancient secret to assume a new form contingent upon your impending demise. At the end of a Long Rest you may mix a quantity of your own blood with the physical remains (blood, bone, flesh, ashes, ichor, dust, etc) of a creature which died within the last 24 hours. You expend hit dice equal to the creature's Challenge Rating, you may only have one such contingency active at a time. If you are reduced to 0 hit points you immediately transform into this creature as though affected by the True Polymorph spell. If you are reduced to 0 hit points in this new form, or if you lose concentration on the spell, you instantly revert to your previous form at 0 hp and must immediately make a Death saving throw, and continue doing so on your turn until stable or dead.
At the DM's discretion, if you remain in this new form for one hour, the change could become permanent, which could impact your ability to speak, cast spells or continue advancing in class levels. Alternatively, you may return to your previous form during the next long rest.
You also gain expertise in another skill, and gain proficiency in one language, artisans tool, musical instrument, martial weapons or heavy armor.
