Some monks study for peace, meditation, or to hone their body. You study how to use a rage within yourself to the advantage of those around you. You study how to make a mark upon history. 

Path of the Kensei

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your special martial arts training leads you to master the use of certain maneuvers. This path also includes instruction in the deft strokes of calligraphy or painting. You gain the following benefits.

Weapons Of War. When you choose this path at 3rd level, you may choose 3 maneuvers from the Battle Master fighter subclass; When you reach 6th, 11th, and 17th level in this class, you can choose two additional maneuvers. You use a roll of your martial arts die in place of the battle master die and spend a ki point instead. 

 

Way of the Brush. You gain proficiency with your choice of calligrapher’s supplies or painter’s supplies.

Force Of Personality

At 6th level your your discipline and attention to detail allow you to excel in social situations. Whenever you make a Charisma check you can add a bonus equal to your Wisdom modifier. Your self-control also causes you to gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws. If you already have this proficiency, you instead gain proficiency in Intelligence or Charisma saving throws. 

Warlord Maneuvers

When you reach 6th level in this class, you can choose two additional maneuvers. 

Inspiring War Chant

Starting at 11th level, when you use a battle maneuver, you can choose one creature within 60 feet of you that is allied with you. That creature can make one melee or ranged weapon attack with its reaction, provided that it can see or hear you. You may use this feature once per short or long rest. 

Starting at 18th level, you can choose two allies within 60 feet of you, rather than one.

Warlord Maneuvers

When you reach 11th level in this class, you can choose two additional maneuvers. 

God Of War

Starting at level 17, you can channel and invoke the very spirit of war. As a bonus action, spend 5 ki points to enter a battle trance for 10 minutes. This state ends early if you become incapacitated or die. 

Arms Of Legions. Gain an additional reaction every turn. 

Sustained Firepower. Your Maneuvers do not cost any ki points while in this form.

When you reach 17th level in this class, you can choose two additional maneuvers.
