Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Kurtulmak, the kobold deity, bestows his divine favor upon a chosen few of his scaly kin. Those who enter into Kurtulmak's Covenant gain access to eldritch powers intertwined with draconic influence. These kobold Warlocks, known as Covenanters, forge a sacred bond with the Scaled Sovereign, drawing upon the essence of their deity for strength, stealth, and commanding presence.

Scaled Presence

Your devotion to Kurtulmak grants you a commanding presence. You gain proficiency in the Persuasion skill. Additionally, you can speak Draconic if you don't already know the language.

Draconic Warrior

At 1st level, you acquire the training necessary to effectively arm yourself for battle. You gain proficiency with medium armor, shields, and martial weapons.

The influence of your patron also allows you to mystically channel your will through a particular weapon. Whenever you finish a long rest, you can touch one weapon that you are proficient with and that lacks the two-handed property. When you attack with that weapon, you can use your Charisma modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls. This benefit lasts until you finish a long rest. If you later gain the Pact of the Blade feature, this benefit extends to every pact weapon you conjure with that feature, no matter the weapon’s type.

Aspect of the Kobold

Starting at 6th level, you gain a glimpse of the true form of Kurtulmak, taking on a fraction of his divine essence. As a bonus action, you can manifest draconic features such as scales, claws, or elongated teeth. While in this form, you gain advantage on Intimidation checks, and you emit an aura that imposes disadvantage on saving throws against being frightened to creatures within 10 feet of you.

Scaled Shadows

At 10th level, you gain the ability to cloak yourself in scaled shadows, enhancing your stealth capabilities. You can cast Invisibility on yourself without expending a spell slot, and this effect lasts for 1 minute. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Kurtulmak's Dominion

At 14th level, you gain the ability to tap into Kurtulmak's dominion over kobolds. As an action, you can summon a spectral army of kobold spirits. For 1 minute, spectral kobolds appear in unoccupied spaces within 30 feet of you. The number of spirits you summon is equal to half your Warlock level, rounded down (minimum of one). These spirits are friendly to you and your companions and follow your mental commands. The kobold spirits use the statistics of a kobold, but have a flying speed of 60 feet. The kobold spirits take their turn after yours.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
