Base Class: Barbarian
In the depths of the Underdark, there are certain warriors who have become host to rare and powerful fungal spores. These fungal berserkers learn to channel these to bolster themselves and their allies while crippling their foes with waves of toxins.
Fungal Immunities
At 3rd level you gain resistance to poison and necrotic damage. You are immune to magical sleep effects.
Tend the Grove
Starting at 6th level, once per short rest while raging you may use your reaction to grant any of the effects of your spore cloud to one creature within 100 feet that you can see until the end of your rage. You may also spend one additional use of your rage to grant any of the following effects in addition to the primary effect to either your target or yourself.
- Your spores scour you of debilitating effects. You may remove one disease or poison affecting you.
- Your spores reinvigorate you. You gain 4 temporary hit points per level in this class.
- A bloom of nurturing spores heals you. You heal 1d10 damage. This increases to 2d6 at 6th level, 3d6 at 10th level, and 4d6 at 14th level.
Bloom
At 10th level, once per long rest you may do one of the following:
- As an action give any number of creatures within 30 feet of you resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage for 1 hour. They may also, once before their next long rest, heal themselves for 1d12 as a bonus action.
- As an action deal 3d6 damage to any number of creatures within 60 feet of you. Half this damage is poison and half is necrotic. This damage increases to 5d6 at 14th level and 8d6 at 18th level. Any creature that takes damage from this ability is poisoned for 3 rounds.
- You gain resistance to all damage except force. This lasts until your next long rest.
Fungal Body
At 14th level, the fungal spores in your body permanently alter you: you can't be blinded, deafened, frightened, or poisoned, and any critical hit against you counts as a normal hit unless you are incapacitated. You gain immunity to poison damage.
Spore Cloud
Starting at 3rd level, when you rage you emit a cloud of spores. At the time you start your rage you may choose one of the following effects, which lasts until the end of your rage.
- Your spores bolster your body. You gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
- Your spores heal your wounds. At the start of your turn you regain 1d4 hit points. This increases to 1d6 at 6th level, 1d8 at 10th level, and 1d12 at 14th level.
- Your spores conceal you. All enemies gain disadvantage on attack rolls against you.
- Your spores fester in your enemies wounds. Your attacks deal an extra 1d6 poison or necrotic damage. This increases to 1d8 at 6th level, 1d10 at 10th level, and 1d12 at 14th level.
- Your spores boost your reflexes. Your movement speed increases by 10 feet.
At 8th level you may choose two of these effects, and at 12th three. At 20th level you gain all effects on this list while raging.
