Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

A rare sight to see on the battlefield, those that follow the Path of the Trickster are illusive and cunning, using brain and brawn to deceive their foes with illusions and strike with sheer unpredictability.

Natural Cheat

Beginning at 3rd level, you have a natural talent with dice and cards, always finding a way to twist them to your advantage. You gain proficiency with one gaming set of your choice and the Sleight of Hand skill.

Fraudster's Friend

Also at 3rd level, your rage is so potent it can conjure illusions to confuse and attack your opponents. When you rage, you can summon an illusory double of yourself to appear in an unoccupied space that you can see within 30 feet of you. As a bonus action on your turn, you can move the illusion up to 30 feet to a space you can see, but it must remain within 60 feet of you.

For the duration, you can make melee attacks as though you were in the illusion’s space, but you must use your own senses. Additionally, when both you and your illusion are within 5 feet of a creature that can see the illusion, you have advantage on attack rolls against that creature, given how distracting the illusion is to the target. The double lasts until your rage ends.

You can use this ability an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Give Them the Slip

At 6th level, your fast reflexes and slippery movements can make it difficult for your foes to hit you. When you take the Attack or Dash actions, you gain the benefits of the Disengage action, causing your movements to not provoke opportunity attacks.

Swindler's Strike

At 10th level, your deft hands can steal from your foes, even in the middle of a raging battle. When you hit a creature with a melee attack, you can attempt to take something from them that you are aware of. The creature must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier, whichever is higher), and if they fail you can take the object from them if you have a free hand, or drop it to the ground.

You can use this ability an amount of times equal to your Dexterity modifier (minimum of once) per long rest.

Crushing Charlatan

At 14th level, your double can enact retribution on its own, becoming more powerful and independent. The maximum range your double can be from you increases to 120 feet. When a creature hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to teleport your double up to 60 feet to the creature and make a melee attack against them. This melee attack becomes a critical hit on an 18 or higher on the d20.

You can use this ability an amount of times equal to your Constitution modifier per long rest.
