Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Whether cursed by a desert djinn, blessed by a goddess of the moon, or imbued by sacred rites of a hidden oasis society, the Desert Numinar is a sorcerer whose power is entwined with the cosmic dance above and the ever-shifting sands below. These mystics draw upon the celestial bodies and the secrets whispered by the desert winds to wield a unique form of magic that bends time, manipulates space, and echoes the distant stars above.

Stellar Gaze

Your connection with the stars above has given you heightened visual awareness. At 1st level, you have expertise on passive and active Wisdom (Perception) checks to detect magical illusions up to 60 feet. Additonally, you now have darkvision up to 120 feet.

Sandstep

Starting at 1st level, as a reaction, you can transform into a cloud of sand, causing non-magical physical attacks to pass harmlessly through you. During that brief instant, you are immune to bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage. You then instantly reappear in an unoccupied space within 10 feet with the ability to pass through any space blowing sand can reach, as long as there is space for you to rematerialize. Once you have used this ability, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again.

You gain an additional use at levels 6, 14, and 18. At level 14, this ability gains immunity to force, thunder, and poison damage in addition to magical forms of bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage.

Keeper of Keys

Beginning at 6th level, casting teleportation spells comes so easily to you that it expends only a fraction of your spellcasting efforts. When you cast a teleportation spell of 2nd level or higher using a spell slot, you regain one expended spell slot. The slot you regain must be of a level lower than the spell you cast and can’t be higher than 5th level.

Temporal Flux

At 14th level, you can spend 3 sorcery points to cast the Haste or Slow spells. These do not count against your list of known spells, and are not considered magical spells, but fundamental manipulations of time and space.

The All-Seeing Eye

Starting at level 18, you gain the permanent use of truesight to a range of 60 feet.
