Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Wizards who study the art of Voodoo commit themselves to ancient rituals and the study of black magic. They can use a shrunken head as a spellbook, and are sometime are found wearing ceremonial garbs and a wooden mask. Voodou Doctors are able to speak to the spirits of those who have fallen, cast deadly curses, and cure others of sickness. They are sightly religious and believe they were chosen by Iwas to change the world.

Voodou Secrets

First, you add 5 hits to your HP total, at every level increase you 2 to your hit points. Whenever you do necrotic damage to a living creature (Not Constructs and undead) you can absorb the damage into temp hp. You can do this equal to your prof. bonus.

Voodou Ritual

Spell-Infused Dart. You become proficient in darts. As a bonus action, you may infuse a dart with a spell for 1 minute and attack with the dart as a BA. If the dart hits an enemy or ally, it will cast the spell focusing on the target (the dart does no damage to allies). You use Intelligence rather than Dexterity for your attack and damage modifier when using an enchanted blow dart. A creature hit with a dart automatically fails whatever save the spell has them make. You may use this skill a number of times up to your Intelligence modifier (min 1.). Due this bond with the tool you have disadvantage with all other weapons.

Spiritual Warning. The spirits are able to give you a warning before you take a fatal attack. Once per long rest, you are able to turn a single enemy attack into a miss. After you suffer a level of exhaustion.

Iwas Eye

Starting at 2nd level, you can glare at foes and cause them to crumble and fail under the force of your baleful glaze. When a creature you can see within 60ft of you makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can use your reaction to give that creature disadvantage on its roll. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier + 1. You regain all expended uses when your complete a long rest. When you use the ability, after the fist use you must take 1d10 + 1 necrotic damage to the rest.

Blessing and a Curse

Spiritual Healing. You may spend 30 minutes making 3 potion for curing a character of a sickness, curse, and an indefinite madness using a ritual involving 1 strand of the ancient tree branch, A ceremonial dance around the pot, and 300 gold worth of incense. You can only make another brew until all 3 three potions are gone.

Dark Hex. You may spend 10 minutes of downtime creating a salve from a frog’s leg, grounded bone, and a few other materials worth 20 gold. As an action, you can toss the salve in an area within 20 feet. When it lands, all creatures within 5 feet of the landing zone must make a Wisdom saving throw, or be transformed into a Frog for 1 hour. Those affected by the potion are transformed until their form reaches 0 hit points. You may only make 1 salve at a time.

Create Voodoo Doll

Starting 14th level, you may spend 1 hour constructing a voodoo doll from either a hair, nail clip, or tooth of the intended target, a bag or rice, a doll identical to the target, and 1000 gold worth of incense. Once created, the doll is connected to the target’s soul. The doll has 100 hitpoints, an AC of 5, and is classified as a construct. If the doll takes damage, the intended target must make a Wisdom saving throw, if the target fails, they take irresistible damage equal the damage the doll has taken in necrotic damage. The target will feel any pain inflicted on the doll. However, it will not cause any physical damage to the target’s body. If the doll is tossed into a fire and left there for 5 minutes, submerged in water for 5 minutes, or stabbed with 20 needles within 1 minutes, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw, or take 100 points of irresistible necrotic damage. The target will take damage as long as they are on the same plane as you, with unlimited range. The only way to unbind the doll is for either the Witch Doctor to undo the ritual, the magic is dispelled from the doll, a Remove Curse spell is casted on the intended target or the intended target tears off its head. You can only make a Voodoo doll once per month.
