Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who follow the path of the Bloodthirsty are relentless, fearsome warriors who tap into the primal power of bloodlust and vampirism, sometimes without being vampires themselves. These barbarians revel in the thrill of combat, drawing strength and sustenance from the life force of their foes.

Bloodthirsty Strikes

Starting at 3rd level, when you enter a rage, your attacks become infused with bloodthirsty energy. Whenever you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, you regain hit points equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1). Additionally, your melee attacks deal an extra 1d4 necrotic damage for the duration of your rage.

Vampiric Resilience

At 6th level, your connection to vampiric power grants you enhanced durability. While raging, you gain resistance to necrotic damage, and whenever you score a critical hit, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Barbarian level plus your STR modifier (with a minimum of 1).

Sanguine Surge

Starting at 10th level, you can unleash a burst of vampiric energy to fuel your attacks. As a bonus action, you can expend hit dice to regain hit points equal to the total rolled, and until the start of your next turn, your melee attacks deal an additional 1d6 necrotic damage.

You may only use this ability the number of times equal to your STR modifier per long rest (minimum of 1)

Bloodthirsty Rampage

At 14th level, whenever you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you can make a melee weapon attack as a bonus action. If the attack hits, you can make an additional attack as part of the same bonus action. This effect can chain, allowing you to make a series of attacks as long as each one reduces a creature to 0 hit points. This chain of attacks ends when you miss or when there are no more creatures within reach that you can reduce to 0 hit points.

At the end of this bloodthirsty rampage, you can choose to extend your rage without needing to make a Wisdom saving throw, provided you continue attacking and reducing creatures to 0 hit points. If you don't attack or don't reduce a creature to 0 hit points on your turn, your rage ends as normal. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
