Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The senses are vital to combat and yours have become so focused on the battle that the world fades away.  By using this advantage, you immerse yourself in an almost trancelike state by not just observing the fight, but reacting to it almost without thought.  You yearn for the brawl as a child wants to play, gleefully.

Improved Critical

  • At third level, while raging, you critically hit on a 19 or 20.

Frozen in Fear

  • At sixth level, when a melee attack hits you, you can spend your reaction to paralyze them with fear. Save DC=(8+Strength+Proficiency) Wisdom save.  On a success, the creature becomes immune to the Frightened condition for one hour.  Creatures immune to the Frightened or Paralyzed condition are immune to this feature.  This can only be done a number of times per long rest equal to your total rages, and can only affect one target at a time.

Uncontrolled Fury

  • At tenth level, when you kill a creature with a critical hit while raging, you must either: make an extra attack against another creature in range with advantage for free, take psychic damage equal to your level (this damage cannot be prevented or resisted), or end your rage immediately before your next attack as to avoid causing unwanted damage to yourself or your allies.

Perfected Focus

  • At fourteenth level, you have a number of focus charges equal to your proficiency bonus.  When you make an attack roll or a saving throw at disadvantage while raging, you can spend your reaction to consume a focus charge and forgo the disadvantage.  You regain all focus charges after a long rest.
