Base Class: Sorcerer
The Time Mage controls time and space. This sorceror toys with the laws of the universe.
Temporal Manipulation
1st-level Time Mage feature
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Time Mage Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an abjuration or a transmutation spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.
Time Mage Spells
| SORCERER LEVEL | SPELLS |
|---|---|
| 1st | mage armor, feather fall |
| 3rd | blur, misty step |
| 5th | haste, slow |
| 7th | dimension door, greater invisibility |
| 9th | telekinesis, teleportation circle |
Temporal Awareness
1st-level Time Mage feature
Your senses are finely attuned to the flow of time. You have advantage on initiative rolls.
Swiftness
6th-level Time Mage feature
Your control over time magic becomes more refined. When you cast a spell that has a casting time of 1 minute, you can spend 2 sorcery points to reduce its casting time to one action. You can do the same for spells with a casting time of 10 minutes, reducing their casting time to 1 minute, but this costs 3 sorcery points. Spells with casting times longer than 10 minutes can't be shortened with this feature.
Critical: Quick
14th-level Time Mage feature
At level 14, your mastery over time enables you to act with extraordinary speed when it matters most. When you are reduced to half of your hit points or fewer, you may immediately move and take one action, neither of which provoke opportunity attacks. This ability can be used once, and you regain the ability to use it after you finish a long rest.
Meteor
18th-level Time Mage feature
At level 18, you have reached the pinnacle of your Time Magic abilities. You gain access to a unique spell called "Meteor". This spell is exclusive to the Time Mage subclass and represents your mastery over time and space.
Once you cast Meteor, you must finish a long rest before you can do so again.
