Base Class: Bard
Perhaps the oldest form of music in the world is the melodic tweeting of birds, and some fortunate people who truly have enough patience around animals will learn the melodic secrets that get animals to fawn over them and help them in battle. In addition, the animals will see their true compassion and kindness and unlock the purest potential in their heart to inspire, heal, and help their allies.
Familiar Findings
At 3rd level, you get access to the Find Familiar spell. In addition, you can have up to your proficiency bonus ammount of familiars in a pocket plane. For now, you can only summon one of these at a time, however. You get familiars by encountering any beast in the wild, and befriending them with a successful animal handling check (DC 10). Any creature with a CR of 0 has the potential to be your familiar, rather than just the ones listed in the Find Familiar's spell description. Your familiars can also attack, following your turn on combat. If a beast you've familiarised drops to 0 HP, they will return to your pocket plane to rest. You can also release a familiar back to the wild if you so wish, and you are able to replace any you release.
At higher levels- At 6th level, you can befriend familiars with a CR of 1/2 or lower, and at 14th level, you can befriend familiars with a CR of 1 or lower.
Soothing Voice
Your voice is so beautiful that it can make anyone feel better.
Also at 3rd level, as a bonus action, you can expend one of your bardic inspiration uses to provide further healing when you cast a spell that involves healing.
Friendship with the Fauna
At 6th level, you can now have two familiars summoned at the same time, and you can cast spells through your familiars, not just with a range of touch. The spells are still limited to your actions on your turn, so you can't cast two spells at once, for example.
True Love's Revivication
Also at 6th level, as an action, you gain the ability to revive any close friend (or more), with a kiss, your tears, an embrace, or a song. You can only use this ability once per long rest and the target can't have been dead for more than one day.
Swarm Summoner
At 14th level, using an action, you can now summon any swarm of beasts (controlled by you) to come to your aid, (provided a statblock exists of it). They follow your turn in combat and they will dissapate within 1d6 turns, or if they are knocked to 0 hit points. You can only have one swarm out at a time and you cannot summon these alongside your familiars.
In addition, you gain access to the Conjure Animals spell, but you can only summon the animals you have stored in your pocket plane, and the limits of the spell still apply. See the Conjure Animals spell for more detail.
