Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

The Gambler Rogue is a daring and charismatic individual who thrives on taking calculated risks. They have honed their skills in games of chance and can read opponents with uncanny precision. In combat, they incorporate their gambling expertise to gain an edge on their foes.

Gambler’s Kit

You gain proficiency in a gaming set of your choice. Additionally you gain a bonus to passive perception equal to your Intelligence modifier.

Risky Gambit

As a bonus action, you can choose to make a risky move during combat. Roll a d6 to determine the effect:

D6 Roll

Effect

1

Critical Failure - You suffer disadvantage on saving throws, weapon attacks, and ability checks until the end of your next turn.

2 - 3

No Effect - Your risky move doesn't have any additional effect.

4 - 5

Moderate Success - Your risky move grants you advantage on your next attack roll or ability check.

6

Jackpot - Your risky move pays off, granting you advantage on all attack rolls and ability checks until the end of your next turn.

Your Risky move can be the dash, disengage or dodge action.

Sly Gambit

As an Action, you can try to manipulate your foes. At 7th level, you can force a creature (with a wisdom score of at least 10, but no higher than 15), to make a wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier) Upon a fail, it is distracted, and you can attack it on your next turn. When you attack it, is counts as suprised, and sneak attack damage counts to your weapon damage when using this feature (unless it is immune to the surprised effect), Once this feature has been used on this creature, it is immune to it’s effect for 24 hours. If the creature succeeds on its saving throw, it has advantage on its next attack roll against you as long as it is within 1 minute. It too is immune to this feature for 24 hours.

Gambler’s Luck

At 13th level, your gambling experience has enlightened you to the knowledge of skill and fate. When you roll a 1 on an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can reroll the die. You must use the new result, even if it is a 1. You can use this feature as many times as your proficiency bonus per day.

Master of Fate

You have become a true master of gambling and manipulating fortune. At the end of a long rest, you can roll a d20 and store the result. At any point in the future, you can replace any d20 roll you make with the stored result.
