Base Class: Paladin
The oath of the Pancake is a subclass based around giving buffs, temporary health, and healing, all with magic pancakes. with different fix-ins the Pancakes give different things, such as more temporary health, advantage on Dex saving throws, and many other things to help you or your allies during battle or after battle.
the tenets of the Pancake
Compassion.
Every Paladin who swears this oath knows that compassion comes first. if a peasant is having trouble paying rent, pay their rent for 10 months ahead. if a beggar is sick, they heal them.
Comfort.
Another thing every Pancake Knight (as is what they are known as) knows is comfort. not of themselves or as in a "comfortable lifestyle", but as in if a friend is going through hard times, they will comfort them. be their shoulder to cry on, their safe place, their vault of secrets that no one must know. it is a sacred vow that not many can shoulder for very long, but those who can, they become the most trusted Knights of the realms.
Mercy.
if a soul cannot be spared, or if it would give them more comfort, then death is the answer. it may be somber, but the takers of this oath are used to feeling empty or down. its a way of life for them, and so long as they help others, they are happy to do it. however, if there is undead, the answer is a quick death. lay the soul to rest quick and the gods may yet spare you, for releasing a soul back to their care.
