Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Connected to a being of bullets and bloodshed, a Warlock of the Scope walks a path ridden with gunpowder and lead. They are crafty, fierce, think quickly on their feet, and always keep one step ahead of their targets. They have made a pact with a powerful patron related to firearms, such as an Arch-artificer or a magical sentient gun.

Gun Savant

At level 1, you may use a firearm as your arcane focus, and use it to cast spell effects. If you take Pact of the Blade at level 3, you can cause the weapon to be a firearm of your choice. You ignore the Loading properties of said firearm, and it does not require ammunition from you.

Combat Roll

In battle, you are an expert at weaving in and out of danger. At 1st level, as a bonus action, you can take the Disengage action or the Dodge action if you move at least 15 ft in a straight line on your turn. You can use this ability twice, and regain all uses after completing a short or long rest.

Sniper Fire

At 6th level, you may use your bonus action to focus your aim on a point within range of your Eldritch Blast while you have a firearm drawn. For 1 minute, as if you were holding concentration on a spell, if a creature moves out of a 10 foot radius of that point, you may use your reaction to make a single Eldritch Blast beam attack against them with advantage. This ability can be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and recharges after a long rest.

Double Tap

At level 10, you can use your patron’s might to duplicate spell effects. When casting a Warlock spell or cantrip without the range of self or requiring concentration, you can use your bonus action to cast the spell again, if you spend another spell slot. This ability recharges after a short or long rest.

Bulletproof Soul

At 14th level, your connection to your patron wards against ranged attacks. You may use your reaction to cause all ranged weapon and spell attacks made against you to have disadvantage until the start of your next turn, and half the damage from ranged weapons and spells that hit you until the start of your next turn. You cannot use this ability again until you finish a long rest.
