Base Class: Artificer
You have given up any semblance of combat prowess for the ability to truly master your craft.
The abilities gained by this path weaken yourself in combat, but heighten your crafting prowess to unimaginable levels
Craftsman’s Prowess
Beginning at 3rd level, whenever you are to craft an item you can choose one of the three following options
- Half time needed to craft the item
- Half the total cost to craft the item
- Not using a spell slot in crafting a magical item
Each one of these options can be used as many times as your proficiency bonus each long rest, and multiple can be used at once
Peaceful Crafting
Your focus on crafting has left your skill in fighting negligible, Because of this you lose, and can not gain, proficiency in any weapon. Additionally spells which do damage do ,1d4 times the spells level, less damage.
Craftsman’s Secret
At 5th level, because of the ability you wield you can use conjured materials as if they were permanent.
If a conjured material is used in an item of your creation, you can expend a spell slot to extend the conjuration of the material infinitely, if dispelling magics are used on this item your intelligence modifier is added to the DC of the check.
Craftsman’s Magic
At 9th level your magic has bended itself to purely craftsmanship
- You have 4 permanent mage hands, which can lift up to 50 lbs.
- All damaging spells you can cast can be bended to help with your crafting. (DM’s Discretion)
- The spells effect of Peaceful Craftsman is doubled.
Master Craftsman
At 15th level you are now at the level of some legendary craftsmen.
- All of the effects of Craftsman’s Prowess are now always added once.
- The mage hands of Craftsman’s Magic can now lift 100 lbs.
- The conjuration of Craftsman’s Secret now cannot be dispelled and does not take a spell slot.
