Base Class: Druid
Dragons and descendants of them have formed a circle where they can empower and share in the ancient heritage. They truely came from a single source. A single dragon god. It may differ from realm to realm. What remains the same is the ability to gain the powers of any dragon type.
The class gives the flavor to play a dragon. Or call upon the power of dragons. Depending on the realm lore the circle could be protectors of dragons or their secrets.
There is something about dragons. And you’re going to have to find out that secret.
Dragon Form
The rites of your circle grant you the ability to transform into dragons. Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into a dragon with a challenge rating as high as 1 (you ignore the Max CR column of the Beast Shapes table, continue to use the table for movement restrictions such as you can only use flying speed of your Dragon form when you are an 8th level druid).
Starting at 6th level, you can transform into a Dragon with a challenge rating as high as your druid level divided by 3, rounded down.
For the purposes of Druid level the Elite Druid adds 1 levels and Druid Supreme adds 3 levels. And for boons and class features this subclass counts as circle of the moon but only for dragon shapes.
Draconic Secrets
Starting at 3rd level, your character learns some draconic secrets. These are spells you can cast (no automation

Circle of Dragon Secrets
| Druid Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3rd | Dragon’s Breath |
| 11th | Summon Draconic Spirit |
| 13th | Draconic Transformation |
| 15th | Illusory Dragon |
| 17th | Shapechange (but can only use this to transform into dragons) |
Dragon Weapon Expertise
At 6th level, you learn to control the breath attacks of your Dragon forms. Your attacks in Dragon form count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
In addition, when you roll a d6 to recharge your breath weapon you can roll twice and use either result. Once you use this feature equal to your proficiency, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Empowered Breath Attack
At 10th level, when you deal damage with your breath attack in Dragon form, you may expend a spell slot to deal 2d6 extra damage per level of the spell slot. This damage is of the same damage type as the breath attack.
Draconic Body
At 14th level, your material form attunes to the Dragon forms you control. You gain draconic wings with a fly speed of 30 ft, blindsight up to 30ft, and darkvision of 60ft which applies in all forms. If the form already has a fly speed, blindsight or darkvision they increase by that much. You can use legendary actions in your shapechange and wildshape dragon forms. You now can use 8+proficiency modifier+wisdom modifier for the DC of your dragon wildshape abilities if the DC is not already higher.
When you wildshape into a dragon you may add your wisdom modifier to the calculation. Once you do, you can’t do it again until you take a long rest.
