Stone Sorcery

Your magic springs from a mystical link between your soul and the magic of elemental earth. You might trace a distant ancestor to the Plane of Earth, or your family might have earned a mighty boon in return for a service to the dao lords. Whatever your past, the magic of elemental earth is yours to command. Your link to earth magic grants you extraordinary resilience, and stone sorcerers have a natural affinity for combat. Your fists hit like iron, and your skin is literally as hard as rock. In combat your place is amid the fray. You rely on your elemental nature to shield you from harm and your magic and fists to overwhelm your foes.

Stone Sorcery Spells

1st-level Stone Sorcery feature

You also learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Stone Sorcery Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Bonus Proficiencies

1st-level Stone Sorcery feature

You are proficient with simple weapons, martial weapons, and shields. You can also speak, read, and write Primordial, the language of the elementals.

Stone Form

1st-level Stone Sorcery feature

Your connection to stone gives you extra fortitude. You gain the following abilities:

• Your hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 again whenever you gain a level in this class.
• As an action, you can gain a base AC of 13 + your Constitution modifier if you aren’t wearing armor, and your skin assumes a stony appearance. While in this form, your weight is quadrupled, and you can also move across difficult terrain without expending extra movement if you are using your walking speed on a surface made of stone or dirt. This effect lasts until you end it as a bonus action, you are incapacitated, or you don armor other than a shield.
• When wielding magical weapons, you may use your Charisma modifier for attack and damage rolls instead of Strength or Dexterity.

Epicenter

6th-level Stone Sorcery feature

Your spells are at their most lethal nearest the source. When you cast a spell that deals bludgeoning damage by expending a spell slot of 1st level or higher, you cause the earth around you to shake. The ground within 10 feet of you becomes difficult terrain until the start of your next turn, and any creatures in that area must make a successful Dexterity saving throw or are knocked prone.

Stoneheart

6th-level Stone Sorcery feature

Any time you would take bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, that damage is reduced by an amount equal to your proficiency bonus. 

Additionally, when you take the Attack action on your turn, you may make two attacks instead of one.

Stone's Edge

14th-level Stone Sorcery feature

Starting at 14th level, your mastery of earth magic allows you to add the force of elemental earth to your spells. When you cast a spell that deals damage, choose one creature damaged by that spell on the round you cast it. That creature takes extra force damage equal to your sorcerer level. This feature can be used only once per casting of a spell.

Quicksand

18th-level Stone Sorcery feature

You know the Quicksand Burial spell and can cast it once without expending a spell slot or material components. Once you do, you cannot do so again until you've finished a long rest, unless you expend a spell slot of 8th level or higher to cast it again.
